  1. And just like that, they are in front. Lewis again just doesn’t impact the contest and goes to ground.
  2. Gus again. Fumbles galore. Cost us a goal. We play a loose in defence and nobody is on the goal line to defend that ball. [censored] lol. This team is embarrassing.
  3. Gus is having a mare
  4. This season is over. Let’s finish low and draft skilled players. Yes I said skilled players. Salem would be so happy to have some friends.
  5. We made and won finals without him. He isn’t the reason we can’t win a game.
  6. No matter what, Goodwin refuses to play man on man. We must always leave a player loose in our back half, which makes our forwardline constantly outnumbered and playing 2 on 1. When will we learn that without proper numbers up forward we can’t influence the scoreboard, no matter how many times we bomb it in there? We cannot hit a target sure, but TMac is always playing on two defenders. And Garlett gets the ball kicked over his head and there are two loose GC players. We have no chance because we are conceding a forward.
  7. We are a disgrace. How any team can justify those inside 50s is beyond me. 35 inside 50s for 3 goals. What a joke. We haven’t done a single thing to improve that ALL year and the season is gone. Wake up Goodwin!
  8. [censored] this. I’m so over this pathetic game plan and our inability to hit targets. Disgusting.
  9. OMFG HOW DID WE [censored] THIS UP?’
  10. Sorry but Keilty is not AFL ready.
  11. Embarrassing stuff.
  12. More like it could go nowhere... near a goal
  13. Lewis is so soft in the contest. Why why why why why is he being gifted games?! He is embarrassing himself.
  14. Forward line again letting us down. Stop getting in each other’s way!
  15. Seriously!!! No pre game?!
  16. Hurry up Foxtel. I don’t pay $10000 a month to watch Collingwood singing their song!
  17. And this to me is the most disappointing aspect of this. We took risks with a player who isn’t automatically in our best 22, as if that’s acceptable. I mean if it was a do or die match I would understand, but it was a practice game and we lost!
  18. I raise you mullets.
  19. Ask him about his hair care routine. I need those luscious locks for my wedding! ?
  20. Of course not. But the point is Oliver would get suspended for that because he isn’t Ablett. That’s the entire flaw in the system. Ablett could murder a basket of kittens and publicly support religious homophobes and he still wouldn’t get so much as a please explain from the AFL. Big names and big clubs get an armchair ride from all sections of the AFL hierarchy. The rest don’t.
  21. I have no idea if Mission is good or not. Roos endorsed him so that’s all I can go on. However I hope Pert and Mahoney are leaving no stone unturned to get the best possible replacement for him. Look at sporting clubs around Australia who have great injury recovery records and go hard after their people. Do whatever it takes. A healthy list is first and foremost in achieving success. You can have the best team, but if they can’t get themselves fit to play, they’re of no use to you. As for Joel Smith, I’ve said enough about my feelings towards his mismanagement. I think if his name was Oliver or Gawn he wouldn’t have returned to the ground. And that’s very disheartening. If he does have OP then why the lack of transparency?
  22. That’s sad to hear. But as Mahoney said alcohol shouldn’t be used as a fix. In general young people tend to try and mask their issues with booze. It never works.
  23. The ‘drama’ is the club has a no alcohol rule while in rehab. Neither Gawn nor Jones are injured. This in itself is not a hangable offense by any means, but it’s another disappointing day for a player we have already invested a lot in who so far has given us SFA back. At this rate Lever is going to be back playing before May does. The guy is 27. He has little time to waste not doing the right thing 99% of the time.
  24. Correct. Whether he is almost recovered or not, he is clearly not at 100% fitness as he is no chance to play this week and did not play last week. This means he is still in rehab recovering from a 5 week injury. If the rule states don’t drink, then don’t drink. FFS how goddamn hard is it to stay off the [censored] for 5 weeks?! Our culture of drinking is just mind boggling. He knows the rules. He chose not to follow them. If this was an isolated incident you’ll let it slide, but geez he has been incredibly poor since joining this club on very very big coin. He has zero credits to his name to say “what’s the big deal”. It’s not about the drinking. I’m sure he wasn’t wasted and disorderly. It is about choosing not to follow clearly stated team rules which are there for a reason. If you can’t be bothered put in this minimal effort, then questions need to be asked about what sort of effort you are willing to put in elsewhere.
  25. Thrilled. The last player who didn’t make footy his priority at our club has a 10,000 page thread about him. This won’t end well.
