Garbage. We have given up which is the most disappointing thing. Gonna quickly lose a lot of % if we aren’t careful.

38-20 in clearances. Pathetic. Gawn has wasted every hit out. Got nothing from Jones, Viney or Oliver. Brayshaw wasted on the wing. Bad selection with Pederson. We needed speed. Hunt should have played. Nobody will come close to replacing Lever. I think we will make the 8, but we look like just ladder fillers.

Again I have to question Goodwin. Whenever the pressure has been on he has had no answers what so ever. Is it just our team not being good enough, or can some blame fall on Goodwin. We have been outplayed since the first bounce in every part of the ground.

Just goes to show you that we really haven’t played anyone good the last 6 weeks. Finally we are playing against red hot opposition, and as has happened earlier in the year, we are looking miles behind them. If we don’t win this game I think it will tell us a lot about where we are at as a team. Are we just making up numbers or are we actually good and a chance of challenging?

Can someone please tag or better yet smash that fat turd De Goey?! He is killing us. Any chance Goodwin can put a man on him? I can’t see us winning it. They are getting easy goals and they are cleaner with the footy. Tom and Hogan done SFA which isn’t helping.

Pressure got to us. As I said I knew 7 in a row against a hot opposition on such a big day was too much to ask. Just not handling the occasion right now.

Kinda shattered to be missing this game. First queen’s birthday match I’ve missed in over 10 years. Will be getting up early of course so I can watch it. This is the least confident I’ve felt about a match for a while. Surely the dream run will end eventually. Pies are in good form. They’ll be up for this game. I feel like after 6 great games we are due for a downer. Hope I’m wrong.

Gawn will need a chop out in the ruck so I assume Pedo is in. Would be so risky to ruck TMac with the foot drama.

Such amazing news to wake up to in Lisbon this morning. Great result. Nev and Omac I assume are regulation signings now. Brayshaw probably will sign soon too. Wouldn’t it be awesome to get Jesse to sign an extension before the year is over? A flag might help this.

Probably worth more to us than what we could get for him in a trade. That said he may want more opportunities.

I believe you make your own luck in life, but it’s hard not to feel like this club is cursed. To lose Lever is a massive blow to our structure. No doubt our backline is the weakest part of our side. Hibberd and Jetta are elite and so is Lever. We lose Lever and suddenly we are left with only 1 tall defender who is very young still. The replacements for Lever are there but gees not one of them will be half the player Lever is. This is a big blow to our chances of winning a flag. I know people mentioned Murphy but losing a non KP player is much easier to cover. Losing Lever is the same as losing Hogan or TMac or Gawn. Very hard to replace. When Lever found form so did we. This is a huge blow!

Apparently struggled with knee tendinitis at the start of the year. I swear he always looks like he’s about to fall apart physically when the ball is not near him. Then somehow magically is the most sublime beast on the field. Love Jets!
