  1. Being a country lad, instead of Danger being content to do the occasional 1-1.5 hr drive to Moggs, I'd imagine he's excited it's only a 1-1.5 hr drive to the bright lights!
  2. If he gets the job good for him, we have to deal with it. We'll find somebody to compliment Goody. This is the way of the MFCSS free MFC.
  3. They missed a few imo Can anyone give me a good reason why if you're tackled and the ball hits the ground without getting a hand pass or kick to it, it's not incorrect disposal, dropping the ball, whatever, EVERY TIME. It's so obvious and could easily be at the top of the KISS Afl list of on-field rules. If Richard Branson was asked after a game which rules he understood I think he'd be able to master that one. Not in the slightest disappointed Richmond lost btw.
  4. hindsight maybe but imagine the compensation!
  5. Either way will probably work out for us. If he stays then he's bought in and I'd expect his game to develop, if he's off we'll get a solid player in return. Either way team culture improves. I watched the replay this morning and found myself hoping he stays.
  6. Knocked off another hoodoo. beat the Giants and the Umps, very happy Father!
  7. I'm seriously hoping we can win on Sunday and watching Crossys retirement speech I'd say the boys will be too. PJ communicated the goal to win 7 games and is another reason we'll be up for this game, not to mention a win will likely have us above the Saints and we finish the season on a positive note. Will Mark improve our side on the weekend?
  8. Mixed feelings, but it probably is the right decision and hopefully he'll take the position offered. Congratulations on a quality career Crossy, you can hold your head high, fantastic contribution at two Clubs. Well done we really needed what you could offer and you delivered in spades.
  9. A harder AFL loving body should help with confidence, and then study and emulate John Worsfold, a gentler, nicer man you could not meet.
  10. My overall opinion of his career is about a 6-7/10. Is his form good enough to make the seniors? I don't think so, but I'd love to see him impact finals with Casey.
  11. My passion, aggressiveness and happiness watching whorethorn go down tonight is at the same level I'd feel after a great Dees win! Long suffering supporter syndrome? Fed up with the AFL syndrome? Both? I don't know. Psychologists feel free to diagnose.
  12. Expected yes but really happy to have him banked......cue the deposits and tissue comments. His marking has me a little shocked and excited, really clunking them. I'm guessing the whisperer's been at work "try two hands for marking mate"
  13. I'd say to show the fans improvement but with the overall need to still finish the year lowly, it's all I have to hold on to at the moment as unpalatable as that is.
  14. We must be pretty good, we beat Richmond, Western Bulldogs and Geelong at home with what we thought was a relatively weak team. Now we're so hopeless it beggars belief. This is just too wide a gap between our best and worst, this is list managing, it has to be.
  15. I'm red faced and agitated, you wouldn't believe this could happen by listening to the radio!
  16. Why not put players behind the ball after getting in front ??????????
  17. 3 goals in a team that kicked 7, against arguably the best team, has him one of the first picked next week.
  18. GWS made that offer late enough that we couldn't accept it. At the time, I thought that could be quite clever by them.
  19. Seriously sickened me when I heard he was in the team.
