I have just been told Hogan and his manager met with Fremantle last week and are having another meeting this week. I hope this is incorrect but it's what I have been told.

There's no doubt about it Goodwin would have tried to mix it up more than DP did today wouldn't have been hard . My point was aimed at Deestar9 who claimed Goodwin is a great coach and I don't think anybody can say that about him at the moment.

Goodwin is not a great coach, hopefully he will be but he is not.

On SEN's crunch time show today Robbo suggested Watts is worth a late second round pick if traded, I dont want to trade him and if thats all we can get for him I will be filthy at the club if they trade him.

That was me who suggested the idea of trading Gawn for Kelly and I stand by it. Even though others thought it was the silliest thing ever posted on Demonland and that is fine, everyone has there own opinion. But for me we would be a better side with Kelly than Gawn in it and you have to give something to get something. If we could add two young future captains in Kelly and Lever in the off season it would be huge.

Well two finals down two average matches, all we heard last year was that the bye helped the standard of footy. I think it was just random luck, I hope the Swans win the premiership and we never see that bloody annoying buy before finals again.

I personaly think Josh Kelly will be a superstar and is what the Dees are crying out for and you have to give to get and there's talk Mumford will retire at the end of the year. Dont get me wrong would not trade big Max for anybody else but would throw him out there for Kelly.

I dont mind the idea for one year but again would be hard to see him playing along side Vince and Lewis. I also dont mind the idea of trying to talk Luke Hodge out of retirement for one year plus a coaching role after that. One of the greatest leaders of all time, surly could help out in selected key matches.

Would love to see him back at the club, although as others have pointed out highly unlikely to come back and play for us. On another note I would be open to putting Max Gawn on the trade table particularly in a bid to do a trade for Josh Kelly.

Bumped into a player on Wednesday night, it's fair to say he was furious with the effort last week ( particularly a handful of players ). If the look in his eye and want to redeem is replicated across the whole team we will win.

So frustrating being a Melbourne supporter, yet so predictable. Just looks like its going to be one of those years where things just dont fall our way. I know Goodwin has a lot of fans as a coach and I think he will be a good coach but his lack of experience is hurting us just as much as not having a ruckman.
