Yes, seems to me the airlines were holding onto flights for there own websites. Itโs fair to say it was/ is hard work trying to work out flights.

Finals Tickets
Yeah I waited in line last week for around an hour, got a good seat also but itโs such an old school system and itโs some what uncomfortable. I felt like I was at the Big Day Out but for old people, a little bit scary seeing old people pushing in the queue

Finals Tickets
Curious if any MCC / MFC members are going to pay for a reserved seat with there MFC membership? I am not sure weather to spend $75 bucks to reserve a seat or wait in line for a couple of hours.

Finals Week 1 - Non-MFC Games
Itโs crazy how so many in the media were giving it to us about it and so many who were giving to us picked Collingwood to beat West Coast tonight.

Changes to the Draft system
The AFL is a dead set disgrace, what all of a sudden they care about clubs being down the bottom for too long. Carlton played finals in 2013, how about waiting another seven years before they get some help.

Round 22 Non MFC Games
Itโs always good when the AFL put either the Saints or Carlton on prime time, wonโt be surprised if after Fremantleโs effort today they get an extra three or four Friday or Saturday night games next year.

Round 22 Non MFC Games
Not sure if I massively underrated Josh Caddy or if he has improved out of sight in the last two years. But boy he is a handy player now.

Priority draft picks
I know FC on Monday night mentioned the chance of Prority picks for Carlton, GC and St Kilda. Well Mick Warner on 3AW tonight said other clubs believe Carlton and GC will not only get prority picks but will get picks 1 and 2 as those picks and St Kilda could also get a pick somewhere in the top 20. Well that would just about be it for me for the AFL. Whereโs the you need to build and culture and environment around the club, yeah thatโs right thatโs only if your a minnow and the AFL CEO doesnโt barrack for you. Absolute Rubbish!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Talking Footy reporting that GC will be asking him for a contract extension and if he canโt commit to the club they will put him on the trade table.

The 2019 fixture
You might be right about no games in the NT but I have no faith in the AFL to come up with a fixture such as yours, the minnow clubs like the Dees would get shafted wherever possible. I highly doubt there is another serious sporting comp in the world where you have half the teams having an extra home match compared to the other half, it just canโt and wonโt happen.

The 2019 fixture
I am surprised people would be happy with a 17 round season. Given how much the AFL bow to the big clubs could you imagine how bad we would get screwed. I could see every second year 8 home matches 9 away games with two visits to WA, two Sydney away games and a visit to SA and know doubt a home game in the NT. Bring in an extra team and i would be all for it, 9 home games 9 away games players get a bye and after every second year its balanced. Not going to happen though.

Angus Brayshaw
Talking Footy saying contract talks have started but Brayshaw camp in no hurry as they know his value is rising and quickly. I think he will sign a two to three year deal in about three weeks time. By the time we sign all are required players up not sure where going to have loads of money left for Gaff.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Lots to like about this plan but still concerns for me. Is this site really big enough for us? The most successful club of the modern era and one of the best run football clubs in Australia are currently developing a 28ha site with an MCG and Etihad sized training grounds on it and they don't currently have an AFLW team. Meanwhile it feels like where trying to shoehorn one oval into a park with little room for growth. Yes the location is great but just hope that if it goes ahead in 10 to 15 years where looking for another location because its not big enough.

Jordan De Goey
Well aware Diamond Jim, also aware clubs just like Melbourne did with Lever go hard for players that they think will add value. Also think this will happen with Tom McDonald just waiting for the Herald Sun article saying a certain club has a five year five million dollar deal on the table for him, the source for the article will be Tom's manager.
