  1. Thanks for that WJ, provides a slight glimmer of hope. If we win this weekend you'll find me in a gutter in southbank on sunday morning, completley blind and happy as larry

  3. It doesnt suprise me that guys like Dunn would be disolusioned (all of those guys would be, Jamar, Sylvia, Davey, Frawley etc). They all started at the club at a time where Daniher had an aging list but a list that saw a level of success. They then sat by while the powers that be retired their mates when there would have been an arguement to keep them on. Then had to suffer years of loosing. the cherry on top is that Neeld then comes in and startes treating them like just another player and gives the leadership roles to guys who havnt played many games. So I can totally understand why they might not like the club at the moment or the coaching group but FFS, take a leaf out of Nate Jones' book and just get on with it!
  4. It's round 2. The media want us to sack the coach, the CEO and everyone else just because it would give them more stories to write. Round 2 is way to early to make drastic changes. Mid season is when i'd expect them to make hard decisions
  5. It all comes down to expectations, and that is why 2013 is such a bitter pill to swallow. Under Bailey we improved, but only enough to beat interstate teams at the G. 186 was a loss we all expected, but at a far greater magnitude. He had to go Neeld seemed the right man on paper - everything that Bailey wasnt, and was a midfield coach at one of the best clubs in the land. Now we cant even beat up on interstate teams at the G (refer to round 1) and our players are bereft of confidence Its a sad state of affairs, but we need to stick it out (again!)
  6. Great post young fella, we're playing another team that hasn't won this year on the weekend, might be a sneaky chance?! carn the dees!
  7. Backs: jetta frawley garland Hb: Watts McDonald Dunn C: Blease jones. Grimes Hf: Sylvia pederson trengove Ff: Howe Clark. Davey Rucks: jamar, viney mckenzie I'c: tapscott, sellar, byrnes Sub: rodan Jamar gets one last chance, sellar plays in backline
  8. Agree on magner, not on couch Magner has done really well for us when played in the middle (not defensive forward)
  9. I'm glad casey have started well. I'm really keen for hogan, Barry, Kent etc to enjoy this year. Perhaps giving them a year of winning games at casey isn't the worst thing for them? Better than demoralising them in the afl side anyway
  10. I'm flying over with 6 mad keen eagles fans next week...I'm in too My plan is to get so blind that I don't remember the game. Any suggestions? Cricketers/royal from the time they open?
  11. Met grimes a few times and not surprised that he was made captain. Quality bloke
  12. Ive asked similar questions myself! If it was a home game i'd say the olympic stand is the best place to sit if your using your interstate membership card. Being an away game not so sure
  13. Trengove would be wasted at Casey. I'd swap him for his buddy Tapscott and play him on a HFF
  14. I totally agree with the comment about miller, McDonald and Bruce - loosing all of them at once was like the Australian Cricket team loosing Punter & Hussey. No wise heads left to carry the leadership load
  15. Can't help but like Craig though. If neeld had said the same things I would have snapped my iPad in half over my knee
  16. Rpfc circa 2011 - I believe in Tom - FAIL Range Rover circa 2012 - I believe in Neeld - FAIL Moral - dont make 'I believe' sigs!
  17. Play watts where the team need him..... Don't think it is on Hurley. I guess he can ruck against nick mat if he is fit for round 3?
  18. I believe he is Garlos brother. Why lie about that sort of thing. And I don't think he ever claimed to be on the clubs pay roll, sounded more like he was doing a lot of 'work' for them in his spare time, on a project of sorts, all of which has amounted to little, thus his frustration.
  19. You've changed your tune mate, a week ago you had serious man love for Neeld
