Interesting case. He makes me miss Stef Martin. I've seen a fair bit of him at training over the years and he has the worst hands I've ever seen on a football field. Actually hilarious. I reckon I've seen him falcon himself half a dozen times. I literally just heard Luke Darcy say in the commentary on the replay that he is 'very very good overhead'. I think he's very very confused. I hope for his sake he shows big improvement over the next few weeks with a bit of consistent game time - but for me I can't see it either.

Even though we've been horrific since 2007, I still liked going to watch the young blokes, the new guys who might be something for the future. Not any more. If I'm in town, I don't miss any of our home games. Today I left at 3 qtr time for the first time ever. I wasn't angry at all, just so incredibly bored of seeing the same crap, every single week. Mind numbingly boring and soulless performances to set up my week at work. The scores just rack up against us time and time again. Even the opposition are quiet at our games, they rarely get into it too much. It's just sad.

He's always done that. He does lead well - but the first thing you learn as a forward is to jump up, extend the arms and stick your butt out to prevent the spoil. But often he'll just half extend the arms. He wants to write an entire article about the basics? He can't even perform the most basic forward rule of all time. And that goes for the whole team. Jump up and out and take it at the highest point like all the best players do. ATTACK THE BLOODY BALL!

The Demons refuse to bust a gut i.e SPRINT to get create an option. It's pathetic to watch. The Kickouts today! Terlich Dunn or Frawley kicking out = NO. If Davey is playing, then he should kick out EVERY SINGLE TIME unless there is a quick play-on option. Watt's can do it when he's back.

Nicholson. When you weigh about 70 kgs then why the hell do you think you're going to be able take and break a tackle? Kills me every time. And McKenzie loses his feet too much. Sure, he's desperate - but the amount of times he handballs straight to someones feet is ridiculous. He's always in the midst of a clumsy dive. Still in our best 22. Hopefully temporarily.

Very good summary I reckon. Re your Tom Mac call, Riv was actually one of our better kicks so it's mildly insulting to liken TMac's disposal to his. He's a big loss Rivers. R.I.P. I've said this before though, it's so bloody annoying that our guys who can go have the worst skills, and the ones with the best skills can't go. Get those two things together and you've got yourself a good footballer. God we suck.

Skills & Decision making. The exact same 2 things that were in my head during the game. In the first few weeks it was Softness and Lack of effort. We've turned that around somewhat. We were definitely more accountable & 1 on 1 today. All I can say is that I hope it improves with confidence.... but I have to say this looks the worst skilled/dumbest side I've seen on the park for us in quite some time. I couldn't get too upset today though, as we did put in.
