Can we please pick up some midfielders so i don't have to watch McKenzie butchering the ball all over the ground. and FFS Trengove, can you not kick further than 35 metres? Inexcusable to kick into the man on the mark from that range.

It pains me to say but it's clear Jordy is not the midfielder we're looking for. I'm not even slightly worried of him coming good at another club, he doesn't have the attributes to do any real damage. He's been unlucky with injury but he'd want to put his stamp on pre-season next year or he will surely be gone.

His greatest strength i reading the play... He really has a knack of just being in the right spot all the time. I've seen him nail some fantastic kicks, so I believe he may be able to improve in this area over time. Hopefully works on his pace a little too. Very solid year...would probably pick him ahead of Garland at this stage, he doesn't let himself down with silly frees.

This season has been so bad I actually wouldn't bat an eyelid if Gold Coast beat us, I've gone past the point this year where this team can make me feel any emotion. I just want it to end so the next mediocre season can begin.

I personally don't think he'll be a star, but Gysberts will be a handy player when he gets a consistent run at it. It all comes down to the fitness he can build in the next 2 years. Happy to keep him on the books until then at least. He does has a high ball drop that gets him unstuck when kicking under pressure but can improve this over time. In reality though, we are sorely lacking pacy, EXPLOSIVE midfielders. And that's not his thing.

This is by far the hardest game I've had to watch for a mighty long time. My brain is just hurting so badly. Thank God there is nothing riding on this. Especially when we have no dignity remaining anyway. Clark and Jurrah play and this game is iced at half time.

we should only kick short into the forward line from now on. Long isn't working for us. Chip it to half forward and let Blease or Jetta run it in. We are missing Jack Watts kicking from half back. Trenners has the cement boots on again tonight. Amazing we're not 5 goals down at least.

Re the Sub rule... I'm not sure Malthouse talks a lot of sense in this area. If you lose one player for the day, then having a sub means you can still match the opposition with 3 vs 3 on the bench. Sure, if you lose another player, then it is 2 vs 3 on the bench. In the old system it would have been 2 vs 4 would it not? So I don't get what he is saying. Gerard Healy argued this with him 'On the Couch' last year but Mick refuses to accept logic on this issue.

Agree with all of these with maybe just 3 exceptions. Jetta is quick and good in traffic. If he can get his kicking right and stay injury free, I'd love to see what he can do. I rate his tackling. Moloney deserves one more year to come good. This is a flat year for sure but I think he can get back to his best. We have nothing to replace him with. Evans... Not sure about him. Need to see more. Give him a go. The rest? Goodbye. The Magner experiment has failed. And add Morton to the list.

I see your point, but do you reckon 2 of these guys have much improvement to come? Nicho has some handy tools and his development should continue but I suspect the other two are pretty much at their limits.

Probably... I feel sorry for McKenzie, he's busted his gut on about 5 long chases already! Never gives up though God bless him.

I seem to recall Valenti having a few good ones... they're probably on par. Godfrey just shades them both.

I actually don't want Magner to get the ball at the moment. He thinks he's He-Man but forgets he's about 5 foot nothing.

Is it just me or has Magner not done much since the first couple of games of the season. Seems a sloppy player at times.
