Reliable in close, hard and determined, balanced and rarely goes to ground, and actually gets the ball out. FCS 2008 was his first season, and playing in a team with little success - what do you expect. Not quick on his feet - but was Greg Williams????? IMO he will turn out a very valuable and effective player for us, given time.

Has already moved ahead of the more highly drafted and experienced Meesen - should he come along at a similar rate in 2009 could press for a game or two in the AFL.

Jeff was comprehensively beaten by Street yesterday, and only few of his occasional hitouts resulted in clearances. I have ben a great Jef fan, but when one looks impassionately, very few of his hitouts recently have led to clearances: a far greater proportion of PJ's and MJ's have. That is surely the bottom line, especially when he doesn't contribute a hell of a lot around the ground. IMO he could have been developed a couple of years ago as a tall forward, but too late now. IMO he would be sensible to retire.

After last week's performance, Holland is unlucky to be dropped, if he has and as mentioned above not a late change for Robbo who looked an unlikely starter. He has a good record v Saints as a forward - may well be a ruse.
