Mark (Zebra) Williams has a winning history and a winning culture, and plenty of experience. May of course not be interested, but ??????????????????????????????????? No presence and sadly no view to the future. ND (and I won't blame the other selectors as I understand that he is autocratic on selection) made the all too predictable selection of Yze > Newton. Mark McLure is now saying just what I said - they just didn't look to the future. What future do we have. NONE UNDER THIS COACH. I am so disappointed for the likes of Brock and Nathan Jones - what do they have to look forward to?????? I will struggle to bring myself to watch another game this year. Very happy to watch VFL - they play with heart and leadership. I suppose ND will say something along the lines that we missed Neitz - what - one player???? What we lacked was heart and on and off field leadership.

Just looking at ND on TV - looks like a rabbit in the spotlight - unfortunately the analongy ends there as the rabbit usualy succumbs immediately, and incidentally doesn't drag down his whole "family" ie the MFC and supporters, with him. GO!!! LEAVE!!!

Not half as "distressing" as it is for those of us who have supported the club for 50+ years to see the sort of insipid pathetic "performance" that the entire club - players, selectors, and coaching staff - have given us tonight. Question for the board: "why should we turn up to watch the garbage served up by this rabble"????????? It is disheartening for those of us who truly beleived that we would make the grade 2007. We have been severaly let down by everyone at the club - coach, selectors and senior players......

IF the coach cannot inspire and guide the team to win this one he is useless. Could we be doing worse with Newton on the ground?? Predictably conservative selection.

By the way - Sandy pretty ordinary looking in the second half, which is all I saw. Didn't play "wet weather footy" at all - tried to finesse and stuffed it up badly. Missed vital set shots early in Q4. No stand outs for promotion; for those who were worried by Miller's form last week, relax (unless ND has yet another secret plan) - an absolute shocker today. -maybe one kick? Newton >> Dunn on today's form - if the ?Neitz injury rumour turns out true, could this be Juice's opportunity v Toiges. One near speccie in the last.

Is it an ND "secret plan" - bulk up, thin down, run-n-carry, and the Newton secret plan. What can we see that they have in common????
