It is just not good enough - the website is pathetic. I was [censored] off a couple of years ago but I only went from Moorabbin to TBO Sandringham which is nothing - was just inconvenient making a few work changes, but this is just awful. Lets hope they really do take this on board, and not just the typical administrative (not just MFC) response.

A top quality CHB who reads the play extremely well - lots of courage and knows when to mark and when to spoil. Sure he can pinch hit up fprward, a useful extra string to the bow depending on match ups and state of play, and also a handy back up ruckman. But the next two years will need to see more structure - CHB for mine.

Daw would seem a very speculative late pick, or rookie pick. Could be very exciting, or very ordinary. But remember who we got at PSD #1 this year - the ultimate excitement machine.

There is rumour on 'ology that he has been traded (no details for whom or what) to Port. IMO would be very bad unless for round 1 or Burgoyne.

Butcher will not likely get to 11, but Carlisle may - from the little I have seen of his highlights, he seems to have more attributes that Temel, who lacks a yard and is said to lack defensive skills or even interest!

IMO that would be a big mistake - maybe a rethink now that Brock has moved on.

I would promote Valenti, now, especially with the departure of Brock. Spencer wouldn't be likely to be picked up by anyone else so offer him an extra year, and also McKenzie. The choice, if it comes to that, between Buckley and McNamara is an interesting one - I guess much depends if Buckley is regarded as an ongoing injury risk - myself, I liked what I saw with McNamara and I suspect his body is right. I have also liked Buckley but worry a lot about his ability to stand up to the rigors of the game.

I also had high hopes for this kid - hasn't had a chance to show his skills, in his first year due to school and age, and this year due to injury. I would see him as a crumbing forward rather than a mid - may be getting a bit crowded in there! Lets hope so anyway.

I would see that as a threat to us - "...more games at Etihad...". Yeah - who??? Colloingwood - no way. Tigers - maybe. Demons - likely.

Nobody should have realisticly expected him to do much this year - never on. But I would hope him to play at least half the games in 2010, but to those who expect him to do this at CHF or FF, think again. IMO he will play on a wing, maybe a bit of HFF or maybe even HBF to learn the game.

rojik or whatever - have a look at Collingwood's injury list and have a guess why they are on fire at present. Have a look at Geelong's 2007, Hawthorn's 2008 and see how injuries can shape, or maybe rather destroy, a season.

I cannot conceivably compare the Cockatoo twins with any players on our current list - that, with and probably without the benefit of hindsight, was a bizzare selection for what was I think for at least on eof them, a first round pick - can't remember where the second wtin came from. They ended up with maybe 6 games between them.

Maybe do both - and leave out the likes of Brock, Jones, Moloney, Aaron - meaningless game anyway.

Yes, I agree, though he seems to have a blind, almost Daniheresque, blind spot re Valenti.

The Jolly / White issue was a clear failure on ND's part - the season was lost, White was struggling with injury, and Jamar and Jolly werevying for game time. ND opted for the easy decision, as White could actually walk, and didn't say to Jeff - take the year off and we will play the two Js and see which is the better. This turned out to be a lose / lose decision. I admire what Yoda has done with the list, but I hope he doesn't make the same mistake with McLean - he has the opportunity to get Brock 100% for preseason 2010, and as well have a good look at Valenti and possibly McKenzie.
