So long ago. I have just realized, nobody has ever paid a cent to see MFC (or Footscray for that matter) win a premiership, and nobody ever paid a penny to see St Kilda win one.

Sadly, for him, that seems to be the case. As others have alluded to, so far down the pecking order as a mid and now with Wagner and Hunt starting out pretty well with a lot more pace, and Salem and H, also as a HBF.

Not having actually seen CP5 at AFL level - and nobody has - can we really know that we will lose anything defensively? Looking forward to the chance to see him though. And re Trengove vs Bugg - maybe when JT regains full match fitness, but he knows that he will not be rushed back in.

We do now have decent depth to cover for midfield HFF HBF type injuries however there are very many young guys in this group and many will tire / come off the boil later in the season. That said, given some luck with our talls remaining available, and not too many senior mid injuries who knows? Possible but not probable. Injuries +/- to key players in other teams around us will also play a part.

I suspect that the maggots will be seeing a lot of him but will think he is too rough for their liking. Should he appear to be leading some of the 'favored sons' late in the year my ingrained paranoia feels the MRP will dream up some pretext like a fierce tackle to make him ineligible.
