The great thing about living here as opposed to say North Korea is that we are all still allowed to express an opinion publicly, reasonable or not - though Prof Triggs is working on that freedom.

Goodness gracious me! Do they allow such folk in now? ?

Strong drafts, weak drafts.......surely the outcome depends on how the newbies fit in to their new club and how they are developed, and what senior role models they have in their new club I suspect many here were rather excited at the time, particularly re Clarke, and excitement continued when he came out firing As far as I can recall they never played in the same game together due to their respective injuries One never can tell but had they both been injury free, who knows where we could have been? Certainly a big cultural change re not losing top 22s, and having good players coming to us. What was Prestia's manager thinking? $$$$$. What, was Prestia thinking?

At least there are the mandatory flares at the soccer: not a lot of flair in trade fothnight.

Of course it could be one of those he mentioned - interstate to most of us is anywhere out of Victoria, but if the poster was from Perth then Victoria would be interstate Unless he has somehow defied the rules and obtained a second identity.

Riddler is too deep in contemplation of his next riddler reply to us imbeciles

What I would like even more would be for us to shaft them, regularly, on the field too. -

Don't look as if they have had a haircut ever ?♂️ -
WADA must be totally pi55'd off at the hypocritical AFL. Draft penalties against a club doesn't go anywhere near fulfilling the requirement to suspend a player who evades a drug test for up to 4 years . It is clearly there in black and white, in the rules that the AFL agreed to. Maybe they thought that WADA would allow them to do what they themselves do so often, make up new rules on the run to suit their own agenda of the day. When will we hear from WADA / ASADA?

No..one is shorter. And neither look particularly happy ☹️ But back to the thread.. Has anyone actually seen him play? What rôles can he fill? Plays like whom? -
Do you know that we didn't? Our team play their cards a lot closer to their chests these days.

Gil: Given that GWS have been struggling to achieve their potential and maintain an anywhere near adequate list, this week's knee jerk decision by the commission is that they will get (i) an extra 20% salary cap and (ii) a much deserved priority pick, after Essendon . This is essential to maintain the integrity of the competition, which as you all will know, is our prime aim olisik - in case you haven't noticed, even on those rare occasions when he can get on the park, Dawes won't ruck. Watts shouldn't. Pedo does fill in ok. Spencer - we really don't know. He hasn't played as far as I can recall since the shock win at Kardinia Park in 2015.

2016 Player Review - # 44 Joel Smith (rookie list – category B)
monoccular replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thanks hells bells IF he turned out anything like Easton Wood, in particular a premiership player , we would all* be pretty happy. * well, nearly all. There are a few here who would still complain about something. -
Maybe he will play taller with us?

Like Jordie McK, Matt always put in his best efforts, but sadly not quite up to it and bypassed by too many others. No longer even depth, going forward. Thaks for your efforts Matt

OMG Gil and his mates are absolute weaklings. Have they learned nothing at all from what was in effect a negotiated (non) penalty with EssUndone, before WADA stepped in?? And of course Jab still has his bloody medal Negotiated settlement!!! Gil: now Lachie, you may have been a bit of a bad boy. LW: I had a headache GM: we know that but ASADA, the bastards, are wanting something. How about a few weeks? LW: would that be a suspended sentence....so if they don't catch me next time there will be no real penalty? GM: sounds fair to me...I will have to run a poll though. But I will do it midnight to 0030 on Christmas Eve so nobody will respond. Then I can report 'without dissent' end negotiation Fair dinkum, is there any provision for a coup? They just cannot make a decision be it Downlow medal or this. What a pathetic bunch.

Do you really think Norf will take that long to dump ? Rest assured. The AFL will dream up something on the run

And our, with all the manipulation that goes on with compo, will be early 40s Yeah. But they did manage to con and stave off all the suitors for Vickery ?

^^ Other than the fact that he is listed as 197cm and 98kgm can anyone enlighten me in any way regarding Harry Dear's credentials? IF ANB does indeed have a big gohomefactor, and if Harry is in any way a "potential" ruck forward, and if we can get pick 13 then I am sure our star recruiting team would have a look.

We are now far better equipped so no further need for a headless chook.

He injured his shoulder very early in the game. Hope it has fully recovered (the natural pessimism of a longstanding MFC supporter coming to the fore). -
Not necessarily irrelevant. They do form a useful template. Though I do agree, not often realised.
