The media will be most unhappy not having any club reps to talk to.

Crystal Ball 2020: Your predictions for next season
Quite profound, Paul, and more likely to be true than anything else here.

Big Bob #16? Good at contributing to MFC flags ... about half of them if I am not mistaken.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
But plus is far easier to spell, and pronounce, than ampersand.

Stephen Dank charged over injections...
Bomberland could be feeling just a bit uneasy in case he is offered some sort of plea bargain for spilling the beans (or whatever he was using), or even investigator accidentally finding some records that they all thought were well hidden. Would not trust the cockroach not to take down his erstwhile mates with the sinking ship (before correcting me on my use of metaphors, I do recognize that the conventional word in this context is rats not cockroaches - but rats can be useful in laboratories when young AFL players cannot be found, whereas cockroaches really do not have any saving graces).

Harley does certainly appear to be "giving it his all" in a last ditch bid to save his career. Great to have someone at the club with this mindset, though it could still possibly not amount to anything. Well done, son.

So, if the others are nonplussed, is Salem plussed, or nonminused even?

Lazarus played for Fitzroy in the 1960s if I recall. I think a FF? So for him to come back would be a miracle of biblical proportions.

Its the forward line stupid
90"s ???? Surely you mean 90s

Its the forward line stupid
** unless he steps back up to the form he showed in those 2 MCG finals, which he could well do.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Driving a Valiant 50 years back!! Is it some form of time machine? Please drive it back about 60 years so we can enjoy some premierships.

Is his wearing #15 here an indication of his final number?

Petracca, apparently, and maybe Fritsch, for a moment. The older guy (?#23) won more flags, but “young Barrie” (?#32) has the sad distinction of being our most recent Premiership HFF.

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
Hope that is the only thing we do follow them on.

Sam Murray
Well, we didn’t, and we did, so does that rekindle any interest in Murray? Murray has some stains of cocaine, but Brown has stains of EssUndone.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Where have I heard that before? Oh, yeah. Strauss, Maric, even Morton .... elite kicks. Problem was they couldn’t get the ball.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
I was more amused seeing Bennell, who this week ran for the first time in many months, named on the HFF.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
I wonder how he would go, and how oppositions would play him, if we tried the Pagan Paddock option, one on one Jackson from the goal square, with Pickett sprinting in from wide on the flank?

Half-Time breaks
adc. You have hit all the nails on the head. And Gil will be able, in his mind anyway, to justify a pay rise and or a bigger bonus.

Half-Time breaks
... and take that SHocking guy with him, meddlesome prat.

Simon Goodwin on SEN (28/11/19)
“ Simon Goodwin on Melbourne's struggles this year: "We just weren't prepared for what the game was going to demand right through the summer for a variety of different reasons and from that we lost allour cohesion and ability to put a game style that was identifiable in place." ” Should a game style be identifiable (at least to those on the outside)? The successes we had in 2018 were in great part due to chaos and unpredictability. If our plan is too identifiable then it is more easily countered.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
His second efforts and follow up is awesome.
