Yes of course we have missed him (Hogan), but had Tom had an uninterrupted and healthy season he would have been missed far less. And of course he wasn’t there at the business end of 2018 either.

I agree generally with your comments and especially regards to putting. However there are exceptions - Ben Brown and the Dive Bomber are two who spring to mind.

Liam was from a quite unique background and it was only when he was unfortunately injured and returned to his dysfunctional community that he “went astray”. One can only speculate what he could have achieved without that happening - interestingly Sean Charles suffered a very similar problem when he had a wrist injury, though not as serious of course as criminal proceedings and jail. (And of course $cully and Trengove are far more upstanding fine gentlemanly chaps than Mr ?. )

So do you think we should trade every player who has any faults or limitations? I think we all agree that CP5 needs to work on endurance and set shot goal kicking - so rather than trade him, how about we encourage and help him address these limitations?

The players have the law lid out to them very clearly at induction. Perhaps certain clubs confuse their players about what they take and when? But these are professional athletes and do know better - some just try to get away with things. Very clear indeed - he substituted a specimen .... QED! Maybe they do - according to their rules but not necessarily WADA ASADA.

I suspect that most here would prefer deeds to words from our club.

GW$ did a pretty good imitation today, IMO And how many seasons has Hardwick had before proving himself to be a genius? Haven’t Petty’s better games been as a CHF? Pump him full of growth hormone out of testing season ( or is that tested 365?)?? Agree with those who say he needs a massive 2020 if he is to stay. Yes some of his scoring links were good in 2018 but definitely needs pace, bulk and to learn to make a tackle stick and get some penetration into his kicking. Won’t get any taller.

So 1 get a second round pick for him & 2 use that pick for a young developing ruck & 3 pick up a back up from the rookie list As simple as 1 2 3! Probability of all of those lining up? Close to zero.
