CASEY: Rd 18 vs UWS Giants
Maybe he is auditioning for AFL - atrocious decisions are mandatory. Did Kynan Brown play? Is Yze tracking as hoped?

NON-MFC: Round 20
Goofy - we must not rely on others; we need to get it done ourselves. I am more bitterly disappointed by some of the games we have dropped.

NON-MFC: Round 20
OMG - did Carlton have a goal review against them?? The AFL will have to change the outcome

Koltyn Tholstrup Re-Signs until 2028
I agree re Laurie, but Kolt just in his few appearances add so much energy to the whole team. Energy and class, balance and class. Not as smooth as Windsor, but a massive positive vibe.

Windsor Re-Signs until 2028
Brilliant news. A future captain and AA winger. Possibly a Charlie.

The Ruck Conundrum
Did Goody chicken out, or did he see earlier than others that it wasn't working? I can't remember very many questioning the cheap pick up at the time.

Tom Fullarton - back up ruck?
Drafting has been great: trading has been pretty awful TBH (since May Lever)

Tom Fullarton - back up ruck?
kial - do you have a strategy whereby we could keep Brundy and play Max? Our brains trust couldn’t. dice - are you seriously suggesting that we just “give him a go”? Where and for whom?

PODCAST: Rd 19 vs Fremantle
Thanks guys for all your hard work in getting these fabulous podcasts together. I just love them after a win, of course; less so after a loss. However I am really looking forward to this one - why does Freo seem to have our number, even previously when we have been playing well? Is it just their pace, run and link that mesmerises our midfield, and completely destroys our usually solid team defence. They seemed to just run it out with someone going past then a forward running well deep of our zone, over and over again. Is their coach some sort of wizard who takes our game plan apart, on a regular basis? Or, perhaps we are just not as good as we have beleived? The past fortnight we did seem to be getting it together and I was starting to subscribe to the loading, training, planning for the July, August, September surge, but it now looks more and more despite my usual optimism that the September part will be irrelevant. When and if September becomes a mathematical impossibility, will we change our plans and drop those who aren't by then committed to 2025 and beyond, and bring in even more young blood? Kynan Brown had an unbelievable number of tackles at VFL and needs time on ground at AFL level. All the youngsters we blooded this year have been more than serviceable. Windsor of course the standout, Howes looks as if he will make it, Kolt was IMO unlucky to be subbed out and has added just so much energy to the forward line, AMW just fits right in. Sestan? Verrall? Not sure about McAdam and Fullarton though. Here endeth my ramble.

Petty Re-Signs for 2 Years
He almost certainly will have to do some ruck duties this year. IF TMc stays, then Harrison may remain a swing man. So much depends on how Turner and Jefferson develop as tall forwards as well. But medium to long term he is likely to become our key defender.

CASEY: Rd 17 vs Frankston
Just asking - does Bell actually want to play full time AFL? Not everybody does.

NON-MFC: Round 19
This is how it will go. "Just a football act" - Michael Christian AFL HQ - "better send him to the tribunal so it will look ok" Tribunal - "3 weeks for the elbow, and one more for the dive" Appeals board - there wasn't an 'and in the right place where the charge sheet was filled out - cleared. AFL - oh, how unfortunate. but at least Clarkson won't be there to take credit An adult worm has exactly 302 cells in its nervous system - by comparison, the human brain has around 100 billion cells. But almost two-thirds of the worm's nerve cells form a ring in the head region, where they make thousands of connections with each other.23 Aug 2023 What worms can tell us about brains and behaviour University of Leeds https://www.leeds.ac.uk › news-science › news › article Should be 3, plus 1 for the staging after see above

CASEY: Rd 17 vs Frankston
Thanks. Hopefully there is nobody quite as impartial as Michael Christian deciding these things.

CASEY: Rd 17 vs Frankston
Well it is VFL - a very poorly run and administered excuse for an AFL development and support organisation. OMG - will he be suspended.?😮
