  1. Some of the positioning is strange (though we know that the announced lineups often bear little resemblance to how they appear on the ground) Smith "Health protocol" is "convenient" for Lever's return. Brown - obviously it is felt that rushing over on the day of the match after not training for a week isn't ideal.. No talls on the emergency list - is that tempting fate?
  2. MitchBrown is a listed player yet no mention of concussion or concussion protocols. No injury listed to JVR causing his withdrawal from the Casey game 🤔
  3. I guess we have to presume that the hypocritical VFL continue to pay lip service to issues of concussion and behind the play hits ….. unless I have missed something Mitch Browns assailant has got off scot free. Any updates on his condition? (And still nothing about JVR’s late withdrawal).
  4. Maybe Jake will make an unannounced return to give Max a break on Thursday? 🤔🙄😱
  5. Can any Casey watchers please tell us: 1/ how is Mitch Brown? 2/ why was JVR a late withdrawal?
  6. And that is despite the absolute dogs dinner of VFL 2020-21
  7. I know it ain’t VFL being discussed here, but any news re Mitch Brown being apparently KOd off the play by some Bomber scumbag?
  8. In what / whose role? (Was any reason given publicly for his late withdrawal Saturday?)
  9. ** Salem says "hi"! Would TMcD make versatile medisub? Tall forward, tall back, flanker or even wing?
  10. Exactly. That why the idiots at AFL HQ could even consider an odd number of teams. The lying spin will be that teams will look forward to the bye to reinvigorate even those “lucky” enough to get the bye round 1 or 2 or 22 or 23 🤮😱😡🤢
  11. Strangle, suffocate then score. The Demon way.
  12. KC Still no word as to JVR's late withdrawal?? And, doesn't sound like anyone is kicking the door down right now.
  13. 2016: 174 handballs to 76 kicks 2.28:1 2017: 482 v 177 2.72:1 2018: 472 v 262. 1.80:1 2019: 413 v 248. 1.66:1 2020: 230 v 195. 1.18:1 2021: 431 v 358. 1.20:1 ........................... 2022 (to date): 48 handballs to 56 kicks. 0.86:1 these ratios reflect even more his development into a far more balanced and mature team player, and his kicking has markedly improved over the journey. Handball remains elite.
  14. Well, it will, to paraphrase one of their loudmouthed, multichinned ex presidents, be their grand final.
  15. Thanks TMD - much appreciated.
  16. Did the Cats take amphetamines, or did they dope the Pies with Valium? Swab the lot of them. Still, a long season and the Cats will tire by the late rounds.
  17. and now three Cats disputing vehemently . .... no 50! FMD. (Which would have been a gimme goal - 4 or was it 6 against us in the CFC preseason?)
  18. Look to already have fallen in a hole this quarter
  19. Apparently OK for Hawkins to do what none of our guys could in the practice match v Carlton .... mouth off after a free against
  20. How can the Cats possibly be surging so long after bedtime? Unnatural ... something to do with daylight savings changes 🤔
  21. Merely stating the bleeding obvious. They may as well do it next Monday and get it over with
  22. Geelong well past their bed time once again. They should really demand day games only.
  23. OMG - Selwood the ducking winger HTB, goal Collingwood .... then a second free. Great culture Cats. Then, Selwood again missed an easy tackle on Sidebum. He is going too get really angry and maybe completely loses it.
  24. Well, it was Geelong, and Dangerfield at that
  25. Yes ... certainly a dilemma. Of course if Cats did get to finals they wouldn't be likely to get past a prelim. OMG - a pretty soft free, then a gift goal 50m to Dunderfield
