So looking forward to seeing JVR in the MFC team on 2023 - seems an excitement machine who can mark, kick, run, ruck. But having been an advocate for his promotion for a few months, I don't believe now is the time. Also looking froward to Turner, Howes and Laurie in particular. I feel really bad for Tomlinson, who was rock solid before his ACL and very serviceable when he came in a back up for May and Lever - too good for VFL but no room for him in our defence. He has been a winger: has he ever been used as a forward tall?

Perhaps this is an example of quick sharp loading pre finals?

I can’t trace the details, but I seem to remember earlier this season, or maybe post 2021 🏆🤗 some stats comparing Kozzie with Cyril Rioli and Eddie Betts at the same stage of their stellar careers, and that OUR Kozzie was ahead of them. Seems that the sky is the limit.

I seem to recall Geelong having a vey soft run into finals a few years ago (may have been the prelude to the pre finals bye) and being crushed by pressure when they were challenged by decent teams. We will certainly be match hardened.

Realistically they are not going to throw Bowey forward for the first time in his career in a final, but I agree that ANB is sailing close to the wind. Bowey would be very stiff to be dropped
