Just watched the Kayo Mini WCE v GC$. Just emphasised the totally feral nature of the WCE "crowd" (a mere handful for season's opener at their home ground) - booing absolutely every goal by GC$ however achieved.

binman - great summation. Standard stats don't tell the true story. Kozzie's pressure off the ball is vital - as it was in his "quiet" GF. Oppositions are scared of him, leading to fumbles and turnovers. Goals are the icing on the cake.

I think most people's beef (and not just MFC fans) with the Footscray differential is the fact that there seems consistently / repeatedly to be different interpretations for them and their opponents within games.

That "deliberate" OOB shows (like in round 23 2021) that umpires have zero understanding of the game. Why would they, and it bounced in an off break 4 or 5 times.
