A few quick observations. Well done given the very makeshift defence. Tracc is an absolute beast and clearly hates (the thought of) losing. Umpiring just awful and one sided, once again. One time when we were 3+ goals down we would have dropped heads and lost badly - this mature well lead, very fit and superbly coached team left me only mildly concerned and again a 40 point turnaround was not unexpected.

This is NOT the way to earn respect from the players - it is just the opposite. Actually pathetic and this guy can never be respected if he continues this way. The big problem is that Gil and the AFL are trying to demand respect of the umpires rather than having them earn it. Typical half baked knee jerk reaction to what they see as a probelm. Yes, abuse should not be condoned, but penalising asking a question or showing frustration is another gross overreaction, and likely to have the opposite effect, making relations between players and umpires far more fractious.
