There can surely be no dispute that straight kicking enhances the chances of winning .... and successful dynasties always seek to improve, so of course we can do better.
Needs to be sustained, and improved upon.
OK - time to clear the ground, NOW. Enough is enough.
Imagine the reaction if (a) a player does a hammy in the remaining 5 minutes and / or (b) one or both teams come down with Covid during the week.
OMG Cats just too focussed on Franklin - leave others Heywood Heaney free.
And looking slower by the minute. Maybe they shouldn't be scheduled to play after bedtime.
AND again, Henry talks back after in Franklin's back - no 50.
Several Geelong platers have "clearly shown displeasure" when penalised but no 50s like in our practice game v Carlton.
Even handedness or softening in interpretation?
I know of a doc who hit the kerb falling from his bike whose helmet split open but who only had a mild headache. He would almost certainly had a severe head injury, quite possibly death.
I certainly wouldn’t cycle without one. No guarantees but it helps.
Good preparation to take full advantage of the “lucky moment” is vital, as is mental preparation to put the “bad luck moment” behind you and move on.
I believe it was Jack Nicklaus who once said “the more I practice the luckier I get”.
Much as I dislike Robinson, he was hung out to dry …… basically he stood still, braced and was head butted. I see to recall something similar happening to May a few years ago. Bizarre decision.
Draper should have got 1 week. - "WE WILL NOT TOLERATE PUNCHING - NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR THE GAME"
Rioli should have 2 weeks. - "WE WILL PROTECT THE HEAD. IF YOU JUMP OFF THE GROUND WE WILL NOT TOLERATE IT"
Mitch Robinson should have been cleared. "???"
The Sloane one, I'm comfortable with a fine I think. "FACE AND EYES WILL BE PROTECTED"
What a horrible way to start the year for the AFL and tribunal. - GREAT SUMMATION OF THE HYPOCRISY OF THE AFL / MRP / TRIBUNAL
