  1. A perfect fit for the current match committee - he can start back, go OK, so be thrown forward and ruck until he goes well there then be thrown back again, or dropped. His career could be ruined in a season or two. 😡😡😡
  2. 1.10 for a half - Is that acceptable Simon??
  3. Sadly, totally believable.
  4. Bloody hell Melksham Now 7-15 to 11-6. Useless. Now 12-6 Two misses MFC. One straight Saints.
  5. [censored] another set shot missed. If the team can’t be bothered learning this, why should us fans bother ??
  6. Cursed - no. Just can’t be bothered working on it.
  7. Inside 50 42-30 Marks i50 11-5 And still trailing. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
  8. Just cannot kick bloody goals when needed. Awful. Don’t deserve to succeed Must be addressed urgently.
  9. NormSmith would drag him.
  10. Well they aren’t consistent so cannot bank on that. But W-M has passed the concussion assessment
  11. Windsor is NOT a defender.
  12. Will help with the selection anyway.
  13. Michael Christian should NOT have any say in this at all. So bloody biased.
  14. Just as well, since he is based in Victoria, where presumably scythes being bladed cutting instruments over 20 cm length have become illegal this week. Baseball bats presumably will become the legal instrument for youth gang brawls.
  15. Howes looks panicky.
  16. OMG just tuned in. How they stuffed up that foiled attempt at clearance 27-28 minute mark. Back and forth, rinse and repeat until a turnover and a siren goal to South Melbourne.
  17. He can do a massive long kick 🤣
  18. I expect that he had one during the first week. Not everything shows in a CT however. As it seems everyone goes for AI these days (is natural intelligence a thing of the past?🙄) here is what I found asking CT vs MRI vs PET for concussion In assessing concussions, CT scans are used to rule out serious injuries like bleeds and skull fractures, while MRI is more sensitive for detecting subtle structural changes and axonal injuries, and PET scans are used to assess brain metabolism and function. CT scans are typically used as a first line of imaging, and MRI may be used if CT findings are inconclusive or if concussion symptoms persist. PET scans are not typically used for routine concussion assessment but can be used to assess brain function and metabolism. Here's a more detailed breakdown: CT Scan: CT scans are quick and efficient, making them ideal for quickly assessing for major injuries like bleeds, hematomas, and fractures. They are helpful in ruling out more serious traumatic brain injuries, but they may not detect subtle structural changes associated with concussion. MRI: MRI is more sensitive than CT for detecting subtle changes in the brain, including axonal injuries (DAI) and small bleeds, which may be missed on CT. It can also provide more detailed information about brain tissue structure. However, MRI is not typically the first choice for concussion assessment, as it is not usually required unless there are concerns about other brain injuries or if concussion symptoms persist. PET Scan: PET scans assess brain metabolism and function, providing information about how brain cells are using glucose and oxygen. They can detect changes in brain activity that may not be visible on CT or MRI, and they are useful in research studies and some cases of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) diagnosis. However, PET scans are not routinely used for concussion assessment. In essence: CT scans are used to rule out serious injuries. MRI is used to assess for more subtle structural changes and axonal injuries. PET scans are used to assess brain function and metabolism. 19. Maybe the Bears aren’t really that good?
  20. I vaguely remember some years ago - in the 20 teens - that there was some discussion here regarding trading for or somehow picking him. Why not both Moore getting a ruptured spleen AND 💩 getting concussed?
  21. Fixturing including who plays where (who visits Geelong every year, and who never goes, who travels interstate least) Unmanageable rules like “insufficient intent” as if umpires are genius mind readers Yes, amateur umpiring and a conflicted MRO.
  22. Fractured scapula sounds a really unusual injury - if it is to the body of the scapula (the flat bit) I think management would be symptomatic. If it involved the shoulder joint it would be more problematic, and if to the pointy bit at the top, the acromion, I suspect it would be described as such.
  23. It so sure that many people believe that at all. I don’t . Collingwood Geelong Carlton fans pretend it is true.
  24. Thanks 👻, and others for their reports. So was Salo’s soccer session extremely short, or are you just slow on the draw with your phone? 🤔
