The only thing that could have been better is Viney playing on and getting past Selwood. And yes he did throw his head back on the ground.

In love with Daisy, like the rest of us. But even with BT on the Dee train I still can't stand his call.

Normaly love your work but need to stop you right there- too many sharks... http://www.sharkattackdata.com/place/australia/south_australia

I don't think it is the same thing, to be a successful at the same club as both player, captain and coach is a pretty rare feat. My comment was also based around the fact that Adelaide seems quite wobbly, and he would /should still have love for his old club, and the dollars offered might go up as well. This is not some 20y.o. that missus Mummy we are talking about.

I feel really good about this, I have been a bit scared about Adelaide knocking on his door. He (+St Roos) has made the Demons brand of footy legit.
-
It is not like he needs to play kick to kick with the prospects... I doubt he is even 50 years old. Got the job for another 20 years as far as Im concerned.

Exactly, am confused too, it's not like this guy has been hiding under a rock. Maybe suspect disposal under pressure? @ProDee what say you? Anyway in JT and JV I trust. -
Agree to diiffer - the competition with Collingwood/Essendon/Carlton/Hawthorn will never become irrelevant. Teams come and go from UEFA Champions League doesn't male Real Madrids tally less significant.

Stuff how long since a flag, I want the most flags, 17+ I would like to see 5 or 6 in the next 20 years. Preferably in the next 15. This is the ultimate bragging stat.
-
I know I have paid out on Dew but he did have Roos's endorsement, has to be worth something. But you are probably right.
-
i cant see much difference between 6th and 14rh, little factors to have a big impact. Re GCS, easy to think they will be totally awful but they will get better.

I really think Jesse will add a minimum of 4 wins for Freo who will be 10th. I had us 17/5 for year and minor premiers. I also think port has to come good. Syd and Ade miss and StK and Bri both improve. Hawks and Geelong have a soft draw just scraping into 8-9 WCE Ric Col all in top 4-6 Ess could sneak in damn it i had to deliberately pick against them. Dogs don't have enough cattle. North irrelevant I like our tough draw, injuries are a caveat on all predictions. Also i think the 18th team should have at least 6 wins. Carlton fwiw

Are we a chance with this one Jesse trade thread to match all the Jack Watts threads in total, time for some research...

Am not against this, but why when clubs are all over themselves about ruckmen, is North letting him go, North has more cash to spare and Goldstein is up to his last season or two, haven't seen a answer to this anywhere but somethings sounds NQR, did he fall out with the coach or what? If it's fitness, why is North not backing themselves to fix his tank. @La Dee-vina Comedia makes a good point but it seems a big gamble to be recruiting based on rule change speculation. Anyway there is still a piece of the puzzle missing for me, and when something looks too good to be true... But as always, the FD recruiting, led by Taylor and Viney have proved they are worth the trust, I'm just curious about the back story I guess. Just quietly I wouldn't mind Stefan Martin coming back either. -

Where are the height/weight data from? 90kg seems a tad heavy for him, wouldn't have him at more than 86? Fwiw ie not much. -
I agree with the positives noted by others, but wanted to add that he is a smiling assassin in the Bernie mould. He really likes to make a tackle hurt and has some serious but very well controlled aggression. I really think it would be a huge mistake to trade him.
-
this is what i thought, must be close

So if a club has to pay to the cap, what does North do with all the cash? Secret Santa with the current list? They have been putting aside dollars for years now, how do they spend it?

He actually showed more at the end of this year than seen previously, the fact that he got games from a coach that does not seem to play favourites suggests the penny has dropped and he is doing what he is asked (although I don't think anyone has accused him of an attitude). I do see him as depth though and not best 22. -

Watched the Geelong Elimination Final win again last night, he was huge. Lays a very good tackle consistently as well. -

He's worth 34, not including double/triple letter values, and the bonus for all the tiles. I really think anyone we recruit I can trust the FD to make sure the 'not soft' function is installed. Certainly of the Suns that have left they all seem to go ok. K.hunt, what a bone-headed move that was, 3 million for a party drug culture. Funnily enough I'm more worried about May working out than KK if we got both.
