  1. Yes I know what you are saying I saw it too. It is part of the game over the last few years that I do not like. It is a bad look in my opinion. Think I will give up on this, is just me or has everyone lost their cool tonight. Must be time for a single malt!
  2. Could not agree more with what you have said. I was just making the observation that I do not think we have won on this one! Simple, I do not expect we will win every one, some work others don't
  3. You read something in there that I did not intend, still not sure what is was! I was not having a go at Bailey just making the observation that if he had two opponents most of the day there was someone free most of the day. Thought I was making a fairly simple observation.
  4. Good luck rpfc much too hard for an old guy like me I will just keep an eye on the win loss ratio. Hopefully I can enjoy the wins. Let me know in September how we went!
  5. If Campbell plays before July I will be very surprised. I think we rolled the dice and have lost on this one. Only a late rookie pick so not much lost I suppose. Maybe mistaken but I thought Fitzpatrick was 3 - 4 weeks last week!
  6. Then someone in the forward line had no opponent and sometimes there where two players on their own. That being the case who where they and how come they did not kick a bag full? If he is getting two opponents every week then we should be awake and use him as a decoy until the second player drops off. Or is that too simple?
  7. WYL I have a little experience in these matters, not my own but close friends / relatives They have to do it themselves and that rarely happens until they reach the bottom. i.e. they understand they are at the bottom and even then for some people never. From my observation Fev is not at the bottom and in Fev's eyes he thinks he has a problem that he can control. This is obviously not the case. Unfortunately the bottom for him is probably in the gutter dead broke with nowhere to live and no friends. A lot of the experts will tell you that this is the only way some people can recover. I have expressed some compassion for him in the recent past However it now appears the best for him is to cut him loose. When the pay out from Brisbane is gone and he has burnt everyone then there is a chance. At this point IMO Casey should cut him loose! Sad but I think True.
  8. Neither can I! Especially Mcdonald. One of our low lights I am sure.
  9. I apologise.
  10. By the way e25 where did you get that photo of Bailey? It must be the only time he has been angry at Melb. in four years!
  11. On that we are in total agreement I would love going to the match as the hated supporter not the pitied one. Last year I had collingwood supporters telling me how good we would be in the future. Condecending pricks!
  12. I think you have it in one! IMO the only reason it was Petterd last week was his lack of game time in the pre season.
  13. Hard tack I have followed the Dees since 1960 ( I was 11 at the time so you do the Maths). And yes I was there in 1964 with my father in standing room. No fancy seat in the members. And I would stand there again as long as I have the strength no matter how long it takes. I do not care what people call me I have a thick skin except for being called impatient and suggesting that I do not tell the truth. I resent you suggesting I am stetching the truth. I have followed ( and been a member )of the Dees since 1960. The fact I might have a different opinion to you does not make me a liar Have a look at how many flags the bombers have won since 1964 and how many times they have played in finals. There major problem is they expect the best and except nothing less. Call it eating there own if you like but I would swap a bit of our gentleman attitude for a flag. Like it or not they are the facts
  14. Agree with you Fork em I have always said he is too "left centric" and all his opponents know it. Sooner rather than later he goes left, as a defender you can bet on it. I like him if only for the hair but you wonder if he is good enough!
  15. Wish I could help you Nutbean, would like to use it myself
  16. For who e25? then again mine is probably in more danger! As for the long lines just shows how many [censored] pots there are in Aus.
  17. Spot on I doubt there is anything more that can be done by the MFC. If he should go it will be because the AFL wants sucess at GWS above everything else.
  18. After the last three years if you cannot yell now when can you!
  19. I agree what was that?
  20. Agree 100% I was very disappointed with his efforts last year. He has come up smelling like a rose since the games in Adelaide. Look forward to a bright future for him, there will of course be poor games but even the best have those.
  21. It has always been such but that does mean it does not get up your nose occasionaly!
  22. I seriously do not think it is his fault if Scully should leave. He has made all the right moves there If Scully leaves it will be for the money pure and simple.
  23. And even I would have been happy!
  24. I think e25 is close to the mark the whole round was less than expected. GP had an effect, my daughter and son in law went along with two of my friends. There has been a lot on in the last 6 weeks and the $ only goes so far. I went to the GP on saturday Cans were $6.50, you run out of money long before you get drunk even at my tender age! I think our attendance was as good as anyone all things considered.
  25. I agree with you Dandeeman, it is not the players I worry about the most it is us out in the outer. We are happy to go away from the ground with a "great effort" attitude.
