You are probably correct. You remember that old one " when the going gets tough the tough get going" That does not seem to happen very often at the MFC. The gibe I get from opposition supporters is we are "front runners". A lot of the time it is hard to counter that theory.

This is probably because we have had poor sides for the same period.

Nasher I see one "variable" that has not changed. It is "Mongrel" we still have no players that suggest to me that they would run through a brick wall to get the ball. No Nasty types who just want to win at all costs! Even our coach looks like a nice guy. When was the last time he looked like it really hurt when we lost. No Mick Multhouse stares from Him. I know it does not happen over night but lets get serious. Winning is what matters. PS we are all too nice as supporters as well we except losses to easily.

But we have as Robbief says had a number of good people in the form of boards and Coaches ( eg Ron Barassi ) Take the helm at melbourne before and it has ended in tears. I believe the decision time is after 11 games. No improvement on last year and the calls to MM should start. Remember a number of people at the club including Bailey are saying this year is about improvment and onfield performance/winning games. He said it!

So in which year does winning games become important? I have watched the process for 44 years it has not produced a flag yet? What if the process is wrong? How long do I hang my hat on the "process" I have watched this latest "process" for three years. has it another year to go two years to go? is 2014 the year i can start worrying about winning? any idea?
