Good morning Guys arrive back Saturday morning. Any chance I could get off the plane to the news we lost by less than 5 goals? I had this dream last night that we got done by 22 goals and Neeld was sacked on saturday morning. G Lyon took over as no one else wanted the job. Nothing unusual I guess for a dees supporter, the dreams of a GF victory no longer happen even in my dreams.

That maybe the understatement of the year WYL. Unfortunately I think 2012 is a right off, it may be just about sorting out who to keep and who to drop. Not sure the MFC can afford another 2 game winning season but we do not have much choice.

Sorry DS but you will have to wait till 2013 at the earliest, we have a significantly poorer list than the Hawks miracles only happen in the Bible.

Have not been around to see the games Big Jim but by looking at the scores we might finally get it around the middle of 2013. Keep in mind we are still loosing by significant margins.

Not sure why there is such anger to these two. Both have given good service to the MFC, both have only a few good years left. The MFC will not play finals in their time left. If I was either of them I would see nothing but grief ahead for the rest of their playing time at AFL level. If a good offer comes up I would take it. When it suits the MFC we will fling them e.g. McDonald. Take the chance for finals glory plenty of other players have done the same. That is what free agency is all about.

Hi GTG I have missed the last 2 games, I would agree with Couch and Fitzpatrick. Not sure what Couch has to do, we picked him up, raised him from the rookie list and leave him at Casey for weeks on end even though he is in the best at Casey every week. Why the hell did we pick him up if we do not give him a chance at AFL level. It is not as though the mid field is setting the world on fire. No Bennell please the Hawks will scare him to death, I don't care how good he plays at Casey he is not AFL standard

On Saturday I went to the football and had a very good time. No I said Saturday went to see Uni Blacks play Oakleigh in the Amateurs. Enjoyed it no end, you are close to the Game can hear the coaches address etc. Game was played less like the AFL and more like the game of 15 years ago. I could actually work out the game plan Standard is not as good but it was played at a fairly fast rate. Uni Blacks got up, had a couple of beers with a couple of mates on the way home. All in all a good day. Then I went yesterday. I cannot work out what they are trying to achieve with the usual result Came home again with my guts torn out, with no hope in sight. Not much more needs to be said. But I am now off to the welcome relief of the USA for the next couple of weeks. Do not have to endure the debacles of St Kilda, Geelong or Hawthorn. I hope there is a MFC left when I get home. Good luck I feel for you all,

So do I DC I said the following elsewhere WE recruited the kid, then upgraded him from the rookie list. He has put in some good games at Casey We have lost the first three games by an average 10 goals Been belted in the mid field every week. Why hell would we not play him this week. What are we waiting for?
