Does it make any difference now? We have what we have and sadly most of them are below Par. There is no alternative but to play on with the majority of this lot over the next few seasons and try to improve via drafts and trading. Unfortunately it looks a very long haul whatever way you look at it.

If those two are in our best 22 at present then it says a lot about our player stocks. On a good day they are good at VFL level, every other day they are not AFL standard. However leave them in for Sydney it will finaaly prove to all and sundry they are not good enough and we can concentrate on others

That probably says it all DC! -
They are playing Frankston next Sunday at Casey Fields Nasher. But I do not know how it works either.

There is one missing element. Both these clubs had a good list to start with. The MFC list particualy the senior players are not AFL standard. You cannot pull up yours socks if you do not have any on. That is the MFC problem

Well he slipped right back into his normal mode on Friday night. The guy is not an AFL level player He has been gifted a lot of senior level games for probably 5 good ones. All of which are now 2 years ago. Sad reflection on our player stocks. -
I enjoy watching Casey. They always look like they are having a red hot go. What more can you ask for! I heard the coach interviewed on saturday and he said among other things. " I try and keep it simple" Now there is a radical thought. Loved him when he played and looks like he knows what he is doing as a VFL coach.

It is now a long time ago since he played a good game at AFL level Biffen. How long are you going to wait?
-
IMO Two knee reconstuctions before you are 20 does not bode well for a 200 game career
-
If you are not good enough Crackers no amount of games at Casey is going to change that fact. Bail, Bennel and Pettard are looking doubtful starters beyond 2012 at present.

Delisted by Adelaide and nothing I have seen so far suggests to me that they got it wrong.

Unfortunately Trapper Mk.2

Well Macca I have found something we are doing well. We are not doing much attaching, so the players are listening and following his direction perfectly.

I have not seen the last three games but from a small amount of vision, reading reports and opinions from friends it appears that most of the group is either in shock with zero confidence or not up to AFL standard. From last year's games and the first four games I saw this year I believe the later. I have little faith it can be changed quickly, draft picks take at best a couple of years even if we get the right ones. And we have a poor record in that area. Who in there right mind as an experienced player would choose to come to the MFC in the next few years? I will keep on keeping on but I am loosing the will to attend games when we all know the only thing to be decided is the size of the loss. Perhaps when we are winning games again my daughter might push me in my wheel chair to the G We might be able to swap stories about the pain of supporting the Dees in the second decade of the 21st Century -
Stylus I think it is just a preliminary hearing. I don't think he even has to attend in person. Not 100% on that but that is my memory
-
Hard to see him contributing less than Bennell

At least Maric was not the captain. Not a good look for a captain I would think RobbieF When do we leave for Paris? Two days back and I am already struggling. Only Joking with that last line. I am actually quite calm and relaxed about our impending death by a thousand cuts. Life goes on and most of it more important than the MFC -
Remind me again Nasher where are they on the ladder? Sorry I forgot 2 places higher than the Dees. And they have been going 7 matches we on the other hand have been going 100+ years. I don't think Sheedy is the dill The dills lie much closer to the Yarra river.

Same year as me Bossdog but after the last five years mate I am struggling to "stay Strong" The pain is getting to much to bare. Much more of this and I will retire to the Amateurs. It is much more fun and the I don't have to keep putting my hand in my pocket to sustain generations of poor performance.

Hi DC as you know I was airborn friday night. How did my mate go? I looked up the statts, had 4 terrific kicks I see. Can someone please tell me why we keep picking this serial offending D grader? Then again I suppose Bennell had 10 mates on Friday night -
