Dr Mubutu as dees supporters we have all made excuses for why we have been poor for most years for as long as i can remember. We got a bad run from the umpire, the injuries killed us, if only we had enough money for a good FD, the facilites are below standard. The list is endless. What I am asking is to stop making excuses for poor performance. We are plainly not good enough. We were not good enough in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 as well as numerous other years since 1964. IMO we do not have the players to rise out of the bottom half of the competition.

I am not sure how my "buying in" makes any difference to the score line on saturday. I don't run out next saturday ( thank god it would be even worse ) The playing group does not even know I exist. I seriously doubt they read my ramblings on here. Can you explain how "buying in " effects the way the team plays on saturday

It is not his ability that has changed Stylus It is the situation he is now in at the MFC. Dropped as Vc, Dropped from the leadership group ( His peers obviously think there are others better able to lead them ), Tarnished rightly or wrongly by the 186 fiasco. Poor form in the pre season and first game. A year can be a long time in football, just ask Brad Green or Davey

BB I have a bad feeling the he only knows one way or can only play one way. Sad because I geniuely believe his heart is in the right place but we could be seeing the last on him. I would not be surprised to see him leave at the end of 2012. It cannot be any fun for Beamer at the MFC at the moment. He could be a great pickup for another club, still young enough to have an impact for a couple of seasons at the right club. Sadly I think the future looks poor for him at the MFC.

That line may be true OF but it does not alter the fact they we give them plenty, they do not need to make up news about the MFC We give them mountains of crap to work with.

Have you considered that reason the media gets into us is because we make ourselves easy targets. Our actions over years have hardly been good. Take 2011 for example, The VC is out [censored] the night after a game. The lead up to the 186 game. Coach is sacked over the phone. the Ceo is dropped on a Friday and reappointed two days later. A report is commissioned and the findings never released. No.1 Draft pick leaves after two years. The list goes on and with the media's need to fill hours of radio, Tv and Newspaper columns we provided them with lots of stories. Also Remember bad news sells good news is ho hum. IMO they do not hate the MFC we just give them way to much material. eg. If the MFC had beaten the Third worse team in 2011 on saturday none of the last 48 hours would be in the media. Again IMO this is a classic case of shooting the messenger.

I will say it again Actions are all I interested in!

My view is there will only be a couple of changes barring mystery injurys. I think Blease and Rivers will be dropped for Couch and Sellar Even though I think Sellar is ordinary he appears the only tall option for the back line.

I have been trying valiantly to stay off his back but he makes it so easy.

How about the MIOTW award Jack? It might provide I little light relief in what is shaping as a depressing year.

100% agreement from me DemonWA I purposely did not watch last night because I am over talk by the MFC. Actions are all I am interested in and so far the 2012 season is an E. I hope it improves but I am not holding my breath
