Sadly I agree not sure there are any more trips to the well left for a lot of Dees fans. While I want us to win as many games as possible Redleg The reality is 2 is I think the Max. I really think we will struggle to beat both GWS and GCS. Go Dees ( spoken in a soft voice with no conviction )

I am with you there. In fact Redleg I hope we win more games I do not give a stuff where we finish on the ladder. I want the rush of winning. To hell with draft picks we have done that for 5 years. Just win games and worry about drafting in November.

Hi stuie I thought it was just me However the off season is much more pleasurable then the Playing season for me. Lots of hope with new draftees, recruits, FD 's Training facilities etc. It is the playing season that ruins everything!

This is exactly what I am talking about Redleg. When did we start hoping not to win? Any way I keep telling you there is no problem. We have one possibly 2 wins to go this year. It does not matter what the teams above us do

Is it just me? I think I have lost enthusiasm for the season. Left the game on saturday and retired to the pub for a couple before the trip home. My mate said it is three weeks before the next game at the G Just looked at each other and the feeling was who cares. I think the results so far, injuries, certainity of results and "we have been here every year for the last 5" have drained my will. Struggled to get even the enthusiasm to even come on Demonland till yesterday. I think I am over the multi threads on here talking about which players will go, which players to draft etc. When on earth will we have the prospect of making the finals, discussing the possibility of winning games start? Early july and another season is done. I used to worry about losing games now I expect to lose I think the MFC have drained me.

Me too If you look hard enough there is almost always a reason to smile. Got mine this morning when the MFC site says Jamar out for up to 4 weeks. If we use the same scale they use to show LJ 's condition and return date then I would say we will not see jamar again in 2012.

You have to wonder rpfc. I was not a fan of Sellar but he proved me wrong over the last 4 games he played. And Ditto re Williams, I think it amazing he is even playing for Casey at present.

Cam Bruce has announced his retirement from the Hawks. Really a pity it was from Hawthorn and not from the MFC. Should have been at the Dees during 2011. Good luck in the future CB. You gave me a lot of joy over the years at the Dees.

Yes I agree we are pretty poor but there will not be more than 5 or 6 at the max. changes in one year . Unfortunately it is going to take 2 -3 years to change a number of players

I agree with most of what you have said. The FAITH thing is just about worn out. I will believe when I see it not 1 minute earlier

Spot on bb. You only have to look at what happened on Saturday. Jamar may not be around when the Dees are top four but we sure as hell need him for the next three years.

I think the warm weather is getting to you wyl I have a similar 5 year pain but There will not be 12 changes in a pink fit.

Agree Nasher I will be surprised if it is more than 5 changes. There is a basic item at play here. You have to replace players you de list with ones that are better. Imagining you will come up with 12 players better than the 12 you de list is folly. We probably need 12 better players but sadly it is going to take more than one year. Three years would be my guess.

I keep telling you Redleg you are as safe as a church. Port will beat us next weekend and I reckon we will struggle to beat both GWS and GCS. I think there is a chance we could drop to second last by seasons end. We are now seriously running out of player options. The high light for me on Saturday was Green, a few more games like that and he might get one more year.

I have resisted this thread for two days however It is unfortunate that Bennell has got a serious injury and I genuinely feel sorry for him. Now to Saturday, he had a good first quarter then the usually 6 possessions till half time is marginally better than the Normal. Had he played the whole game I confident the his stat's would have been as normal. As the second quarter wore on he was noticeably MIA. I have not changed my mind because he has a serious injury He is not AFL standard . Still the high jump for me.

You have hit it right on the head old55 Until we show some improvement it is very doubtful guys like Boak will want to come to the MFC. If you have to choose between the MFC, GWS, GCS or Port you might as well stay at Port
