Jury is still out for Me I see little so far to suggest they will be more than average AFL players. One cannot stay healthy and they other cannot get a game when we are desperate for mid fielders.
-
Yes it has varied but name me some one at the dees in the last ten years that has been a better kick?
-
So you don't like him then?
-
On this RR we are going to be in total agreement
-
Good Article dees64 Thanks for it Seems to make a lot sense to me. Especially the bit about the youth only policy
-
I will let them off so far olisik Injury again means "how the hell would you know".
-
Don't think there is any "wonder" about it wyl
-
No it is not He certainly had the straightest kick at the Dees in the last ten years that is for sure
-
"that Neeld doesn't rate the list." If that is his attitude Then Neeld and I are in total agreement. I don't rate it either

Liam Jurrah - committal hearing in Alice Springs
old dee replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
That may be most trials in Alice Springs -
And we will lose by 10+ goals Mckenzie is a good defensive mid field player with ordinary skills. He will never be a good attacking player. He cannot hit targets for god sake. That does not mean he won't be useful. But a very good mid fielder he will never be. I am not saying Davey will be wonderful in 2013 but he will be with the MFC. And as such he can contribute.
-
Pates you are kidding right. In that period we have never been better than North. Look at how many games the two teams have won over the period.

Sloonie Davey has a contract for 2013 ( as you probably know ) No one will trade for him so we have him in 2013. He can however do one thing that 15 other players at the Dees cannot do He can hit targets Ten Davey kicks are worth thirty McKenzie or Bail kicks. Back to Green I would be tempted to give him another year. But I think he is about to pull the pin. We may not have to make a choice. I love Green he has given me countless hours of enjoyment during some very black periods. Thanks Brad

At the risk of boring everyone senseless I kept saying all summer this is almost the same team that produced 2011 and 186. I Suspected in 2011 that our team was mainly made up of players that were not AFL standard or could take us out of the bottom half of the ladder. The further 2012 has gone the more I believe that to be true. The problem DemonWA is that our "bunch of Professions footy players " is that in name only. Most of them do not have the required skill level. It is another result of having 18 teams. The talent pool is stretched way too far. There are currently at least 100 players spread across the league that are not AFL standard. But that is another story. The sad part is we seem to have a disproportional number of them.

Ben Hur you had me until the last nine words. Has our recruiting been great ? Hmm. I say a resounding no How can you say that and in the next sentance say " but there is a decent canvas to work with" Either it has been good and there is a decent canvas to work with Or it has been poor Not sure you can have it both ways
-
Carn't is the word jnrmac. People can come up with all sorts of reasons / excuses but over the last 5 years It all comes back to "Not good Enough"
-
Not Rocket science is it BB

Sorry RobbieF Have I messed up again? ( who was it again )

I know we want to cling to the idea that our draft selections are good and they have just not been developed. But with every passing week it is more obvious they are just not as good as we all thought. Most of them are poor kicks, that will not change no matter how long we wait. It is time we got over this "they will come good soon " attitude. We have to go to the well again the current players are not good enough.

I know mate was just a small joke I was referring to your comment about Darling
-
It sure as hell was not leather poisoning DC.

I reckon it is a good bet that Petrie will kick more goals than our whole team
-
Yes me too Nasher and it is all a bit academic The only possible difference will be the size of the loss. Very depressing to have to decide if it will 8, 10, 12 or more goals.

Based on our treatment by the tribunal over the last couple of years then he is going to get 4 weeks Min. Sylvia gets a broken jaw and broken back and no case to answer.

Jumbo Returns We all probably laughed back in March But I reckon you are going to be very close come 1st September. I hate saying this but very astute work.
