RobbieF I am in total agreement. The problem as I see it is we do not have the players to rise out of the bottom six. This group has trouble pulling up their socks because most of them don't have any on. The way out of the bottom six is going to be a slow and Painful journey. Not sure the MFC as a whole is up to the trip.

Billy Mate. In case it has slipped by you we are this poor. We do not have to tank. We are achieving these results when we are trying 100% There is nothing clever going on we are a bottom 3 side.

Could not agree more BDP There are IMO 6 good players on that top 18 and 4 average ones. The rest are not of a standard that will get us above the bottom six. ( have left out Davey and Green as they are all but gone ) There are 4 average players on the Supplementary list. Not one Game breaker in the lot. We have a very long way to go.

Spot on jr Like bangkok demon I was lucky enough to be there in 64. I now have a simple approach after decades of new brooms at the MFC. I believe it when I see it. I still go to most home games but I do not expect to win, that way when they actually happen I have a good time and all the others are then bareable. God only knows why I still keep on keeping on. Probably to stupid to know when I am done. I would be joyed beyond belief to have a team that wins more games than it loses. Carn the Dees

I think I share many of your thoughts DC Actually I am more than a bit numb now the way the team has performed since the end of 2010. I have come to the conclusion that talk of premierships is a waste of time. I guess I should content myself with the fact that I have seen one. Doubt I will again I doubt there are enough years left in my bank I would be happy if the MFC could become good enough to win more games than we lose and not be the runt of the competition.

Lawrence is a rookie so he will not effect the main list Don't agree with Petterd I think he is gone. Also I Don't think Green will be around next year, he could probably go another year in a good team but we all know that is sadly not the case with the Dees. I think there will be 5 changes who they will be I believe is already decided. One of the few interest points for the remainder of 2012 will be guessing who.

My god the natives have been restless the last 36 hours. Everyone is at each others throats after the disaster in Darwin. Not sure why it was not a surprise. There were probably 8 players in that team that are clearly not AFL standard. Our list is poor and has been reduced even further by injury. I was actually surprised the result was only four goals. If everyone is restless today imagine next Monday after a 10 goal flogging by North at the Dome of Death!
