Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
Well the members will be down the very bottom of the list of creditors assuming the club has any money left. If one has lost their job and access to finances then loss of membership money is no big deal. The cost of membership won’t go very far today. For me I won’t be pursuing any restitutuion. The club needs it and I will let the monthly deductions continue.

IT’S OVER FOR NOW
- Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
Good chance the gym gear will never be returned and the administrators will have no assets left to liquidate.- IT’S OVER FOR NOW
I seriously doubt that the AFL would want to lose up to a half a million fans from establishment clubs at this early stage. Most will never come back. It would be a worst case scenario. And easier to wind up the lesser performing clubs, their assets and liabilities then start up new ones with same name from scratch with no baggage and maintain the fan base. GWS and GC are no great loss. What fans they have will mostly transfer their allegiances.- IT’S OVER FOR NOW
AFL has to look after its core assets and fan base as number 1 priority. Goodbye GC and GWS. A leaner stronger competition.- Jack Viney for Captain
He played like I said I hoped he would play when he lost the co-captaincy. Very impressive and gave a 100% though still lacking in disposal skills.- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
At least we won the free kick count in a hostile environment.- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Positives - Kozzie, Viney and our fitness will ensure we will dominate junk time footy.- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Virus steps in prevent further embarrassment for us.- GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Stop watching and go to Dan Murphy’s urgently. Apparently there is a run on booze ATM and beer sure to go the way of dunny paper.- GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Players look too hot and bothered. Someone please give them some silk fans.- GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Viney lucky to get the 50 penalty. Burned two open players in forward 50 and about to bomb it long again.- GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Looks like we might rock bottom last after this round and stay there for a long time.- GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Two points and WC go coast to coast from kickouts without us getting a touch- GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
If the hoarders return all the toilet paper will things go back to normal?- Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
The game needs to go ahead. If the season resumes in a couple of months we need all clubs on equal games played. Besides I want see if have improved over last seasons debacle.- NON MFC: Round 01
Old filth habits die hard. Been happening since the plague of Shaw’s started playing for Collingwood.- Do you want to win the premiership?
Whoever wins the flag for this truncated season who have to put up with jibes that it is a “Clayton’s” premiership. No doubt our supporters will say the same for another club winning the flag. If we win it will taste somewhat unsatisfying like eating a substantial meal that tastes not so good. To gain real credence the premier will have to back it up the following season. Still it is the lot all clubs are dealt with and have to make the best of it.- Kayo $5 for 2 Months
No way am I buying a Murdoch product if I can help it. Hope it goes broke.- NON MFC: Round 01
At least watchers won’t fall asleep- NON MFC: Round 01
Perhaps the AFL should add the wall of sound one hears in big international soccer games. Like the constant drone and blaring trumpets and other noisome instruments? They can add big cheers when a goal is scored.- NON MFC: Round 01
My thoughts after the game are for the seagulls who won’t get their feed of discarded chips tonight. Poor things stayed up late for nothing.- Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
Who gives a flapping seagull about who won’t reach milestone games and other useless stats. People are dying, economies are tumbling and jobs are being lost for starters.- Nathan Jones the best kick at MFC
Yes, Champion Data has credibility.- Nathan Jones the best kick at MFC
I thought the consensus here was that Gary Lyon doesn’t know what he is talking about. Jones is a good kick for goal from long range that is a fact but his general field kicking is not. Bombs the ball too much with poor decision making. For his passing game I haven’t noticed much elan about it. I don’t know why Melksham has the yips on every set shot as he is the most complete and skilled kicker in our team otherwise. Salem is a good kick but has bad days. Jetta is the most thinking kicker in the game. Never wastes a kick if he can help it but lacks range and penetration. Always disposes the ball within his limits. Fritsch is very good also as well as May and Omac. - Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
