I believe his foot injury hasn’t recovered fully. Like he’s barefoot running on broken walnut shells during games.

I said when the season was first compromised due to COVID that the teams with the strongest character and resilience will do well and they were traits we lacked.

Can we just default the two final games and be done with it?

It was a football crime to play an ageing player on a 4 day break, who is obviously past it, injured, slow and plays with zero defensive pressure in a must win game. This is an old boys club for one particular player. Selections at this club is done by idiots.

Judging from the consistent dross served up by our players over the past decade and longer it is obvious they are incapable of being shamed for their efforts. It’s like screaming and yelling at the Moon. Nothing to see here.

Now that is something that one would never hear from the lips of Fyfe, Dusty, Gaff, Selwood, Danger, Buddy, Zorko, Bont, Hurn, Burgoyne etc and just about any other high profile or senior player. If true he said that, it will confirm my suspicions.

He also schooled Jack Viney into his head banging game style. Seriously has anyone ever seen Jones or Viney tap a ball to advantage to a team mate when under pressure. I haven’t, they seem to want to eat it all for themselves. These two have been momentum killers for years. Jones would have been delisted several years ago at most other clubs and Viney has too many bad habits.

If he did know his time was up he would have retired after 2018.

Still suffering from quad injury he had a coupe of weeks ago. Is Goodwin playing an out of form, obviously past it and injured Jones to get him his milestone at the expense of the team?

My cousin was a mechanic for Jaguar. His advice was don’t ever buy a Jaguar. Many of the V12 engines were removed and a Ford or GM V8 installed in their place. The straight line 6 triple carb E Type was a beauty and far better car if one could afford the service and general repairs.
