I will be interested to see how much the crowd up there supports us tonight. Though we have played numerous home games up there it always seemed like we were the away team with spectators. How can we possibly win this game? For starters it’s prime time. We don’t do prime time. Always an opportunity to showcase our ineptitude to the rest of the country.

Freo seem to be happier and improving since they cast aside McCarthy and sidelined Hogan. Frankly we don’t need the drama and negativity he will bring back to the club even for a throw away pick.

Shame TMac who is having some issues with form and injury doesn’t receive the same love as Hogan.

Richmond have a lot of good small/medium types who kick goals. Aside from Rioli there’s Higgins, Short, Bolton, Castagna and Baker. Cant keep them all and a tough decision to chose who to move on. Rioli based on previous form is a keeper who’s having an ordinary season so far. Butler would have been a huge pickup for us after delisting Garlett and JKH.

Will Buckley buckle under pressure and admit the buck stops with him for bucking the protocols? Buckley’s I’d say. Anyway it will cost him big bucks.

Having Jones playing is like fielding 17 men and a witches hat. No other team plays a player as slow, plodding, unaccountable and past it as Jones is on a wing or anywhere else. No way in best 22.

I believe the mental demons that have plagued this club for the last decade won’t go away until he goes.
