I'm half optimistic Moonie but in my wildest fantasies I couldn't imagine anything like that for Jamar!! As Jman said - we'd have to pay someone to take him.

I don't think Vince has the explosive power of Sylvia - Unfortunately Col only produced this about twice a season. Further, I suspect Vince has more brainpower. All up. Not a bad swap. -
Mark Robinson clearly has little understanding

Just a final comment, from me, that I believe sums up Robbo. Could someone explain what is wrong with this . Robbo's comment on Melbourne was- "It’s as though they have $100 bill and want to exchange it for three $50 notes." I'm no Maths teacher but that doesn't sound too bad to me. -

I'm sure Robbo's advice will put Roos and the MFC on the write track. I mean Robbo has played how many games of footy and coached how many premierships? Roos has probably already contacted Robbo to thank him. That an illiterate is a chief football writer for a major newspaper speaks volumes for the standard of journalism in Australia. FMD, Robbo couldn't even give credible advice to the aplacas about where to [censored] in the paddock! -
"Could be irrelevant"? Fair chance I'd say.

This is a very diplomatic way of saying - " we need a few extra dollars guys". So come on D'landers kick in a few extra quids. Imagine a life without the opportunity to read the pearls of wisdom we get on this site. -

In any event, it's no longer a three month post to OS - I presume he has a mobile phone! -

It was about 8.02 that I got on. -
Great work YDE, in putting this together and I actually opened over half of your offerings. Unfortunately, I think I am approximately 100 years older than you and therefore consider it absolute [censored].! Nothing personal - it's a generational thing.

I know Pistachio is a nut FFS. I talkin real nuts not mere flavouring. EG Clint would have unshelled almonds over the chocolate and suck them up his nostril. Subsequently, he could shoot them out his a... and kill people. I repeat ask yourself what would Clint do in this situation ..
-
FFS. At least get one with nuts! Ask yourself what would Clint do in this situation .. and let your life be guided by that.

2013 Player Review - # 27 Tom Gillies
Bitter but optimistic replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Rivers to Geelong - Gillies to us. Beautiful work. -
He gave us 10 or so years loyal service and left to play finals at a time when Melbourne was making all senior players feel very shaky - eg Jnr. I'd welcome him back in the future.
-
Agreed! That incident is still vividly implanted on my memory. It was a gutless king hit.

How dare someone who is working "for free" ignore his responsibilities to we users under the petty guise/excuse of being with his family? Probably a recycler too. -
I agree with you Song. Voss has the right credentials - I cannot believe the way Brisbane gave him the big A just when he was starting to come good. In any event I'd like him around the place to assist in the development of Viney and Toumpas.
-
Yes Ablett is a 10. However, I'd go a bit higher on Jones (4-5) because, while he does not have GA's ability, he just works so hard with little support. Also Viney would be a positive.

Well picked up Biffen. Obviously you have a propensity for the more formal of the reader oriented approaches but clearly you are also strongly influenced by the poetic and metalinguistic. ( although no doubt there are other factors at play)

Just read Enyaw’s post that has been the subject of considerable comment. There has been a classical misreading here and En.. , I’m certain, is the victim of churlish misunderstanding – after all ,a prophet is never recognised in his own land. The following quote from “American Deconstruction” amply supports Enyaw’s position , “...critics flirted with a number of alien presences in their attempts to throw off the long cherished formalism of the New Critics.” Clearly Enyaw has has looked ahead and realised that the “the scientific ‘myth criticism’ of Northrop Frye, the Hegelian Marxism of Lukacs, the phenomenology of Poulet and the rigours of French structuralism [has] each had its day.” And if that is not enough, “De Man believes that this insight -in-blindness is facilitated by an unconscious slide from one kind of unity to another”. Good show Enyaw.

As a retort, that's a clear failure Moonie. You'll need to do better than that. But another time another thread - or we'll be hijacking.
