Brad Miller joins Roos' coaching panel
Bitter but optimistic replied to MadAsHell's topic in Melbourne Demons
Not a mistake you'd want to live with. Anyway real point of post. Why did you change your name? Beelzebub was a real kickarse demon - Satan's right hand man as it were. He had serious street cred. -

Brad Miller joins Roos' coaching panel

It is great to have Brad Miller back at the club. While not an outstanding talent - he made more than the best of what he had. He was highly respected among the players and many were disappointed at his departure. He also had guts and would "fly the flag". I remember a game against Essendrug some years ago at Etihad. I was behind the goals and some Essendon players began monstering a skinny kid called Jack Watts. Miller intervened and let it be known that he was on the job. He was one of the few Melbourne players who would carry out such a role in recent years. -
2013 Player Review - # 1 Jesse Hogan

Had a brief chat to him in the "Betty Cuthbert" bar during the season. He is certainly a big lad. However I was really impressed by his manner, his keeness and his modesty. He presented as a genuine nice kid. -

He looked like a fish out of water at times but also showed some poise- particularly towards the end of the year. He certainly didn't match Wines' efforts but let's see how he develops in 2014. -

Robbo is surely the major media goose. Not only are his comments generally banal but he also has the ability to butcher the language in a way that makes you think his native tongue must be some obscure dialect of Xhosa. EDIT typo -
Massdebate on Demonland!!! Hardly new.

I have described her in the past, I believe accurately, as "both having one and being one".

I haven't read the entire thread but posters are talking 700k. Would this make him our highest paid player? Is he worth this? Does he deserve the right to be more highly paid than any other player? Answers please.

Potential Forward Line 2014
Bitter but optimistic replied to Vanilla Gorilla's topic in Melbourne Demons
I would like to see Sylvia play as a virtually permanent forward with the occasional run in the midfield. He has played some very good footy there, even at CHF( which he clearly isn't). He can lead, take a contested mark, he is an opportunist, and he is a good kick. With the likes of Clark, Dawes and Hogan in the area he could be very dangerous. -

Or the Gat!

Ok DC, I have carried out some exhaustive research, including access to Biffen’s private document library at the Gat. Here are my conclusions which I think can be considered definitive. The Giants were more properly called the Phillistines which, of course became shortened to the Phillies. This name was also adopted by a later New World team which was far more successful and rich but were often confused with the originals. Further, many commentators, yourself included I believe, fell into the trap of thinking the Jerusalem Alpacas merged with the Camels. A patently untrue and insidious assertion. David, however, the villain of the piece, ironically, went on to a very successful political career. Goliath, the unfortunate recipient of the behind the play incident, was never the same again – A bit like John Greening of the filth.

Some lovely content on this thread. Thanks, it is uplifting to read good feeling stories on any media. -
Tales differ here. I heard that the giants were awarded the points because of an incident involving a player named David. Apparently he felled a giant off the ball. There was also an, I believe outrageous, story that a rock was used.

Must have meant theJerusalem Alpacas DC

Ha Ha Ha. That's funny.
