  1. Unfortunately not big enough for an Alpaca - a vicuna however?
  2. I don't mind a bit of speculation, guesswork or even, on occasion, unbridled optimism and even fantasy. However, I reckon the Jurrah thing has been done to death and now should be cremated and put on the mantelpiece and admired for the memories it evokes.
  3. Cross is very important in this equation. If we we get him it makes taking a kid more palatable. But, if we get him and a ready made (ie Sloane, Swallow) then, all of a sudden, we have a midfield. Then we'll see.
  4. BTW. All you banana freaks. Read today's Epicure. Banana bread has been deemed a very unhealthy food!
  5. Sea air?. Maybe a caravan park. Sell a bit of Meth, run a couple of big noses - Life's Good.
  6. Sorry Em, just have to see it before I believe it.
  7. Sounds like the Gat is no longer big enough for you. King Street?
  8. Not a mistake you'd want to live with. Anyway real point of post. Why did you change your name? Beelzebub was a real kickarse demon - Satan's right hand man as it were. He had serious street cred.
  9. I'm with the rest of you. Recognise his strong start but cant wait for his further development.
  10. It is great to have Brad Miller back at the club. While not an outstanding talent - he made more than the best of what he had. He was highly respected among the players and many were disappointed at his departure. He also had guts and would "fly the flag". I remember a game against Essendrug some years ago at Etihad. I was behind the goals and some Essendon players began monstering a skinny kid called Jack Watts. Miller intervened and let it be known that he was on the job. He was one of the few Melbourne players who would carry out such a role in recent years.
  11. Had a brief chat to him in the "Betty Cuthbert" bar during the season. He is certainly a big lad. However I was really impressed by his manner, his keeness and his modesty. He presented as a genuine nice kid.
  12. He looked like a fish out of water at times but also showed some poise- particularly towards the end of the year. He certainly didn't match Wines' efforts but let's see how he develops in 2014.
  13. As soon as I hear anything I'll send you a note by alpaca express to calm your fluttering little heart Moonie.
  14. Robbo is surely the major media goose. Not only are his comments generally banal but he also has the ability to butcher the language in a way that makes you think his native tongue must be some obscure dialect of Xhosa. EDIT typo
  15. I have described her in the past, I believe accurately, as "both having one and being one".
  16. Well my optimistic half won out and I have just upgraded from Trident to Legend. Hope it's a good investment!
  17. I haven't read the entire thread but posters are talking 700k. Would this make him our highest paid player? Is he worth this? Does he deserve the right to be more highly paid than any other player? Answers please.
  18. I would like to see Sylvia play as a virtually permanent forward with the occasional run in the midfield. He has played some very good footy there, even at CHF( which he clearly isn't). He can lead, take a contested mark, he is an opportunist, and he is a good kick. With the likes of Clark, Dawes and Hogan in the area he could be very dangerous.
