Carlton Sack Brendon Bolton
Bitter but optimistic replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
To those who suggest getting Bolton I say …. [censored] ………… we've already got enough losers. -
Oscar is another example of WTF has happened to us this year. I watched Oscar closely in a couple of games last year ( and he played some bloody good footy). I remember posting on Dland how well he played and looking forward to development into a gun defender. This year he has reverted to [censored]. Tom has looked ordinary and seems to be carrying an injury. Brayshaw is a shadow. Weid has gone backwards. Ollie has been inconsistent …… etc etc etc. It is more than Oscar. We have been a rabble. FFS! What has happened??

It's a toss off up between Carlton and Essendon for my most hated team The AFL can send them both to Tassie ( or further south) for all I GAF. -
Far be it from me to say anything decent about the enemy ( or about friends to be honest) but that Galluchi fellow from the Ravens must be given due credit for his magnificent moustache. Wonderfully decorative. In fact, I used my vivid imagination to divert myself from the horror of the loss by imagining other locales where said 'tache would look equally decorative.

Oh tut tut Red! Have you no faith? Just leave it to Gill - he'll fix it.

I've attended every game at the G this year. And in everyone (even when we won) our forward line has (for varying amounts of time) has looked a shambles. We either have no one to kick to or, we kick to a crowd. -
We need someone who can teach our current forwards how to kick.

I left at 3/4 time so I didn't cast votes but Gawn's performance was breathtaking. I realize Mummy is past his best but he is no mug - Max gave him a lesson. Given that we were beaten comprehensively everywhere else, I hope everyone realizes/acknowledges just how good Max was.

Yeah Graeme, today's Herald-Sin also reports that Lever "is confident" he'll be ok for Adelaide game. -
Jake Lever - Suspected Ankle Injury
Bitter but optimistic replied to Neitz the Great's topic in Melbourne Demons
Well if it's an ankle (in the current circumstances) that's good. Further (hopefully) it's just minor ( read "nothing at all really") and they just took him off as a conservative precaution. -
