  1. They've done a lot more than that. When I was sloshing beers with Moonie on that memorable finals night I thought I was seeing the end of an era for Geelong and the beginning of one for Melbourne. FMD I clearly know [censored] all !!
  2. Consider the reinvention of Geelong after an unsuccessful finals campaign. Everyone outside the club wrote them off for 2019 and beyond, however, the Cats culture and professionalism has seen them emerge better and stronger than ever. Yes Ernie, this nails it. That comparison is simultaneously damming and painful. We celebrated mediocrity over the summer while the Cats did something about it.
  3. You are on dangerous ground with the above post @Petraccattack! @Redleg will likely send some of his criminal associates around to break your legs.
  4. Just perused an article in today's Age which has to rank among the most extraordinary things I've ever read. "An official" in Indonesia claims that "more than 270 election staff have died, mostly of fatigue related illnesses caused by long hours counting millions of ballot papers by hand" !!!! Now that's commitment .
  5. Unfortunately SWYL, apart from making supporters feel better, the next week or so are irrelevant. We have [censored] ourselves for 2019.
  6. Jeez that pre game ceremony even caused my bitter old eyes to shed a tear
  7. A selfie ! FMD Ernie - the only “selfie” i’m into is abuse!
  8. Essendon scarf / filth scarf, you will require a remedial kerosene bath in either case Jane!
  9. Just boarded the train at Scumbury. Sitting near a bunch of Richmond blokes - all yap, Tatts and bo ! No hang on - they’re shielas ! FMD they’re ugly! Dunno why they’re looking at me . Probably picked me as a celebrity I purchased a reserved seat a few weeks ago- otherwise i’d Probably armchair support from the Manor Worst thing is my seat is right next to @Moonshadow [censored] that’ll be boring
  10. This is the last time my optimistic half is going to rear its ugly head this year but I think we have a chance. I like Garlett in - should have been a week ago. I like Stretch in - shouldn't have been dropped. ANB ? - well if he can kick only straight! Lockhart - showed a bit the one time I saw him play Smith - this is a big opportunity for him We'll miss Preuss. He draws a crowd up forward and could have opened things up and provided crumbing opps. It would also give the option of moving Tmac back to gain some confidence through keeping Jack out of the game . A well, c'est la vie on that one. I'd like to see Jones deep forward - He's still very good at finding the ball in traffic and knows how to kick a goal. Melk has got to be on the wing surely, to see if he can reproduce those long raking kicks to our forwards. I don't think anyone will kick a bag ( I'd love to see it though) but we need a number of blokes to find the goals. Here's hoping!

  17. I can’t even curse and swear Im not even interested in spanking the maid That was just embarrassing Sadly we’ve got nothing left. Maybe we can turn May and Lever into key forwards- FMD! Book a holiday for September
  18. I’m here too Jane. The bar is the place to be atm
  19. Thank Christ for Preuss! otherwise our forward line is non existent
