Are GCS doing the Paleo thing? If not, then what could explain the fact that they have by far and away the worst injury list of any team in the competition? What does a diet have to do with the injury list?

This is already at 36 pages and could almost be a carbon copy of the old thread. Just an opinion BB... I hate gambling with a passion, but I would say that the gambling industry has so much tied up in the AFL (and in sponsorship) that the AFL most likely feels it has an obligation to be seen to be running a fair and even competition (regardless of what reality tells us).

No, what is sadder is that a number of those putting the boot into him here will then jeer him when he plays for his chosen new club... he will become public enemy number one because he turned his back on the Dees.

The problem I see with tanking, list management, whatever you want to call it, is that gambling in sport has meant that teams who choose to experiment with players in different positions on match days to the point where it can (and does) affect on-field performance, are potentially losing people a lot of money. Obviously it's not the clubs intention to do that, but the AFL has to protect the gambling industry as it has become so big (unfortunately).

I would say that for his own sanity, Watts would have asked to be dropped down to the twos... after all, he would be well aware of the general feeling amongst the supporter base as he is no doubt out and about on social media. I'm quite prepared to believe he dropped himself.

You gave no-one any information at all... not a skerrick!! You, an anonymous poster, claimed to know that Watts was dropped and did not drop himself. That is not information... at least, that is, until you can provide verifiable, unequivocal proof, speculation and nothing more. Until you can do that, you are just one among many who come on here big-noting themselves. Well, it does get you the attention you crave, I suppose.

I saw it and he was definitely not adversely reacting to Garland's position... he saw that Garland was distressed over what had happened (I think he had gifted them a goal) and he was encouraging Garland to put it behind him and get on with the game (in a very positive and caring way). Great leadership and something that I would think Garland appreciated.
