WHO ARE THE TOP SIX SPEEDSTERS IN OUR TEAM?

Well researched deanox. Very interesting figures. Is there one of our game against Geelong. We could then compare Hunt with Dangerfield. -
WHO ARE THE TOP SIX SPEEDSTERS IN OUR TEAM?

Well, Hunt takes the prize for speed. He must be one of the fastest in the AFL. I am told that dangerfield might be quicker but I don't know on that one. Thought I would compare his best of 34.9 kph with the best of Usain Bolt when he ran his world 100 metres record, His speed? An incredible 44.1kph. We humans though, Bolt included, are rather slow compared to the animal kingdom. A very intriging one is that of the elephant who can reach over 40kph. How would an elephant be in our team charging down the wing at this speed? Difficult to stop I reckon. If he was an opposition elephant though I would back Jack Viney to apply a tackle and bring the beast down. Nev Jetta might have a go too. -

Sheer pace. -
These guys imo are pretty quick. Ranked in order, my thoughts are; 1. Jaydn Hunt ( No doubts on this one). 2, Jeff Garlett 3, Sam Frost 4 James Harmes 5.Billy Stretch 6. Javk Watts. Anyone I may have missed?

Jetta- Hard as Granite
-
Salem will be suspended won't he?
-
One change only. Young Weideman replaced by Watts. He has still got a long way to go.I also think Jeffy's output would improve greatly with Jack back in the team..
-
Absolute rubbish jackaub. Have a look at his emotions when we kick an important goal. He is usually the first to congratulate the scorer. He encourages and urges his teammates too. He is a demon mate, true and true. Forgotten the crucial goal after a gut bursting run against Collingwood? Have a look at his form before injury.

Loss of form due to injury, Shades of Cameron Bruce maybe? Hope not as he is too valuable when in form,

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 21
Bobby McKenzie replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Bye bye finals! No Jack Watts to lift and turn on his best. No one now to produce the necessary goals and goal assists that we need. Bad call Goody, you have just committed football suicide. -
What an amazing effort by Salem. Came back on after breaking his fibula! According to a couple of posters at least!

Melbournes record in the past three years
Bobby McKenzie replied to Bobby McKenzie's topic in Melbourne Demons
Well thought out Uncle.I had not given University any consideration. Sorry, students. They played a very intelligent style of footy. I really enjoyed watching them play in those days. -
Apart from the dreaded North Melbourne and I think Sydney, have we beaten every other team at least once over the past 3 years? If I am right it shows great promise for the Demons in the near future. Have I missed any other team here?

Add Christian Petracca to that list. He is a beautiful kick.
-
And add Eddie Jackson to that list. A dashing wingman in our golden years.

When I saw the headline Nathan Jones I was hoping to read that he was no longer 3-4 weeks away and ready by next week. I read his comments and they were fair, straight shirtfronts that Jonesy executes on the field. Not a nasty criticism at all and one Bernie would agree with.

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 15

6. Hibberd 5. Jetta 4. Oscar 3. Petracca 2. Tyson 1. Frost -
And so did I. But we know Joeboy has a nasty hatred for Dom. Looking at the comments I would have expected a 150 poits thrashing. We appreciate your 3 word analysis Joeboy but this one was ordinary to say the least.
-
And nearly made it 6 in a row! Bloody Magpies in '58.
-
That's a fabulous photo. Where did it come from? I've got it as my desktop. looks great.
-
Thanks mate. i only watched the last two minutes about ten times and still got my player wrong. Do you think it would have been paid if Lewis was in our forward zone?
-
In the dying seconds with Eagles going forward the siren one second before Hibberd took his mark. i couldn't help thinking what if an Eagles player had marked. Would it have been allowed? Who cares now though.
-
In the vital last two minutes we were a team possessed. I compared it to an attacking army who by sheer persistence knocked down the castle wall to destroy the enemy. Eagles only had to force a behind and they may have cleared but we didn't give them the opportunity. This is such a brave group of young players who will take us to the top sooner than we think. Bravo my heroes!

Lets hope you have a win soon Jaded. We must break this Norf hoodoo.
