  1. Surprised by this. Not a definite yes but not a definite no either. He can play. It’s about the scope for improvement.
  2. I’m okay with this but he simply must improve the defensive side of his game. 1.2 tackles a game isn’t anywhere near good enough. He can and must improve on this in 2021.
  3. What’s wrong with Milkshake? Geeze. Next you’ll be telling me that Pedo and Fritzl aren’t good nicknames.
  4. Saad is a decent player but surely only Essendon are delusional enough to think he is worth any of Curnow, McKay or Walsh. Saad + a very handy pick might bring Carlton to the table.
  5. I’ll be honest. I’m enjoying this so much more after a vast majority of Demonland was already showing him the door. Delicious. l’ll be at his farewell game. Love you Jonesy ❤️
  6. Okay I’m now barracking for Richmond to get flogged.
  7. Lynch and Riewoldt immeasurably more unlikeable than Hawkins imo.
  8. I like how Dusty changing his boots is worthy of some camera time.
  9. Who the hell am I meant to be barracking for here? The thought of either team winning is repulsive.
  10. Oh Stanley.
  11. Voss is at least a welcome addition to tje commentary in that he has the runs on the board without the disgrace, he isn’t a moron, and he doesn’t treat the audience like morons. A rare thing indeed for Seven.
  12. Not a fan of the night GF. Feels weird and wrong.
  13. I’m just glad the Grand Final is featuring two likeable teams with so many likeable players.
  14. We are still a KPF short but that’s not news to anyone and doesn’t lessen Weid’s long term value. There were some very promising signs this year. On his current trajectory he’s in for a big 2021.
  15. I’d have him back in a heartbeat but I just can’t see it happening. Would be quite the 180.
  16. Decided to pop over to the Carlton board to see what they were saying about the Oliver rumour. The very first post I read said that Pick 7 should get the deal done. I closed out and reminded myself it’s never a good idea to pop over to the Carlton board.
  17. Sure you are sweetheart.
  18. Almost fell off my chair when watching 360’s “Real or overreaction” segment and the question popped up on whether or not there was a lineup for Braydon Preuss. Fair to say I never expected Preussy to be a discussion point on one of the main AFL talk shows. Whateley said it was “realish” while going on to say that the “idea“ of Preuss would appeal to some clubs. By which I assume he meant a ready made, physical, old style ruckman, fresh from an apprenticeship under the game’s premier big man. I’d be amazed if we got anything more than a third rounder in total value. That said, if I were one of the Sydney clubs, GWS in particular, I’d be willing to part with a late second.
  19. My favourite moment of the night was when the halfback line of Haynes, Moore and Byrne-Jones was announced, and Riewoldt and Brown had to wax lyrical about how they’d struggle to get a kick playing against such an imposing defence. They’d have had a field day playing on those three.
  20. On ya Wattsy ?
  21. Nic Nat has been the best ruck this year. His influence has been massive. Gawn is vying for a bench spot. To not even select May in the squad is an extraordinary decision. There’s an argument to say he’s been the best KPD for much of the season. Certainly the second half. But when you look at the list of numpties in charge of the selections it’s not much of a surprise: Gillon McLachlan (chairman), Kevin Bartlett, Luke Darcy, Steve Hocking, Glen Jakovich, Chris Johnson, Cameron Ling, Matthew Richardson and Warren Tredrea. Enough said really. Richo is the one whose judgement I would trust the most out of that clown show.
  22. Libba’s handballing is on another level.
  23. Watching a [censored] human cotton bud kick goals to end our season. A toast to 2020.
  24. Ah damn. We have hope. The old nemesis.
  25. Pretty sure we dont need a live ladder. They win, they play finals. They lose, we play finals. We got the picture.
