Geelong coughing up 13, 15 and 20 for Cameron. Wow.

Welcome to Demonland - Picks 18 & 19
Isn’t 2021 meant to be the draft loaded up with talent? Interesting choice to be giving away our first rounder but the club has earned the faith on these matters. Perhaps we will trade our way back in.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Not that it matters much but he also seems like a ripper fella off the field. It takes a very likeable character for me to still like them once they pull on a Norf jumper. Very happy he’s now a Demon.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
An essential swap of Preuss for Brown would be an outstanding result.

Gary Pert on SEN 6/11/20
Roos was easier to judge from the outside. He’s the kinda guy who as a supporter you wanted to pull the boots on for. Goodwin clearly isn’t of that mould. Whatever his leadership qualities they are clearly more subtle and better judged from the inner circle.

Matt Parker
Surprised by this. Not a definite yes but not a definite no either. He can play. It’s about the scope for improvement.

Jayden Hunt Re-Signs for 2 years
I’m okay with this but he simply must improve the defensive side of his game. 1.2 tackles a game isn’t anywhere near good enough. He can and must improve on this in 2021.

What’s wrong with Milkshake? Geeze. Next you’ll be telling me that Pedo and Fritzl aren’t good nicknames.

Nathan Jones Locked in for 2021
I’ll be honest. I’m enjoying this so much more after a vast majority of Demonland was already showing him the door. Delicious. l’ll be at his farewell game. Love you Jonesy ❤️

2020 Grand Final
Okay I’m now barracking for Richmond to get flogged.

2020 Grand Final
Lynch and Riewoldt immeasurably more unlikeable than Hawkins imo.

2020 Grand Final
I like how Dusty changing his boots is worthy of some camera time.

2020 Grand Final
Who the hell am I meant to be barracking for here? The thought of either team winning is repulsive.

2020 Grand Final
Voss is at least a welcome addition to tje commentary in that he has the runs on the board without the disgrace, he isn’t a moron, and he doesn’t treat the audience like morons. A rare thing indeed for Seven.

2020 Grand Final
Not a fan of the night GF. Feels weird and wrong.

2020 Grand Final
I’m just glad the Grand Final is featuring two likeable teams with so many likeable players.

Weideman Takes Strides Forward
We are still a KPF short but that’s not news to anyone and doesn’t lessen Weid’s long term value. There were some very promising signs this year. On his current trajectory he’s in for a big 2021.

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?
I’d have him back in a heartbeat but I just can’t see it happening. Would be quite the 180.

Oliver Rumours on Footy Classified
Decided to pop over to the Carlton board to see what they were saying about the Oliver rumour. The very first post I read said that Pick 7 should get the deal done. I closed out and reminded myself it’s never a good idea to pop over to the Carlton board.

Farewell Braydon Preuss
Almost fell off my chair when watching 360’s “Real or overreaction” segment and the question popped up on whether or not there was a lineup for Braydon Preuss. Fair to say I never expected Preussy to be a discussion point on one of the main AFL talk shows. Whateley said it was “realish” while going on to say that the “idea“ of Preuss would appeal to some clubs. By which I assume he meant a ready made, physical, old style ruckman, fresh from an apprenticeship under the game’s premier big man. I’d be amazed if we got anything more than a third rounder in total value. That said, if I were one of the Sydney clubs, GWS in particular, I’d be willing to part with a late second.

2020 All Australian Team
My favourite moment of the night was when the halfback line of Haynes, Moore and Byrne-Jones was announced, and Riewoldt and Brown had to wax lyrical about how they’d struggle to get a kick playing against such an imposing defence. They’d have had a field day playing on those three.
