  1. I wouldn't want to pay overs but I think North would be interested in one of our surplus mids. As as for Daw himself I've always had a feeling he would eventually click and become a genuine player with some real X factor. Nothing suggests otherwise in his time ON the field anyway. Tall, lightning fast, developing forward/ruck that seems quite coachable. If Brown hadn't come on the way he had he would have 15 odd more games under his belt for sure. I'd love for this to happen for us. Acceptable trades IMHO; Straight second Rd pick Hunt (Lumumba to replace) Salem with a pick to go our way (purely as Melksham is to come in next year) Kent (small forwards are overflowing) ANB (he is too talented to fall behind Trenners once he returns) I'd love not to lose any players but that's not logical going forward and I've tried to be realistic in what it would cost to get him here. ANB, Kent and Hunt might need pick exchanges to come into play as well to get the balance right. Thoughts?
  2. At least we didn't pick Scharenberg and Freeman....
  3. And hate saying it as well but Garland has to go. Dunn is in white hot form in the 2s
  4. Gonna be a huge 3rd quarter. I still think we have it in us. Some of Wattsies leads need to be honoured
  5. Sincerely sorry to do it, but have. Should have.
  6. Would be Richmonds number 1 ruckman this week if he was with them. He isn't Jacobs or higher but I think he is as good as say a Billy Longer or even a Jarod Witts when he plays number 1. Bullies, Richmond and to lesser extents Freo, Collingwood and Saints would all have him. Hawks and Swans would have thought about it at years end. Happy he isn't going anywhere.
  7. I believe this to be true also, but the free agents update from the afl only lists Dunn. Any chance they have made a huge cockup and posted the wrong year?
  8. Class with ball in hand and tough around the contest at his fit best. Suits our style
  9. Not exactly a KPD but I honestly expect Andy Ottens to be looked at. 27 is not over the hill and if he passes a medical he has Paul Roos written all over him
  10. Fair point. Whilst being far from a VB fan myself, I did have to have a giggle when they entered themselves in the Sydney Craft Beer Awards as Vaucluse Bitter and won. Just shows the hipsters aren't as smart as they think they are
  11. I second this nomination. Scary. He will be a crucial player this week
  12. As long as the camera men from the Casey games isn't consulted I'm happy
  13. Nope, just a fact. And quite rightly I might add. Another in the Watts category that rarely gets credit for his off the ball efforts. The entire 22 can't kick 6 goals and have 30 possessions. We would be better than the threepeat premiers of late if they did. Sometimes players sacrifice their game for the team, something Chris does every time he is asked and as Viv did on the weekend despite many calling for him to be dropped. It's a TEAM sport people
  14. Baaaaaahahahaha. Seriously man, just leave it right there. Any cred you had with me has gone flying right out the window. Not that it was much to begin with. Enjoy your relentless "tough" man attitude with a VB on the couch brother....
  15. To add to that, the replay of the Scorps shows ANB is trying hard but he hardly inspired massive confidence, I think he will make it long term but I don't see him replacing anyone yet. Possibly when Oliver needs a rest then he can prove his worth. Another couple of weeks of high possessions and more importantly quality possessions before you reward the kid. Petracca clearly still a week or two away but showing plenty. Wiedemann to get a look in 2nd half of the year
  16. Watched the replay twice now, Bugg and VDB keep their spots. Wagner is touch and go but my gut says stay, likewise Stretch who will be better for the run in the firsts. IN Garlett (Brayshaw if unfit) OUT Vince VDB to the midfield to get his hands on the pill a bit more rotating with BenKen who will want to put on a show against the old mob. Wagner might be the perfect match up for Howe not having any relationship with him and has the legs to burn the lazy bugger off the other way
  17. You drink a lot while you watch the footy? It's the only explanation I can think of C&B because not only was Garland one of many that rotated onto Daniher throughout the entire game, you rate his game harsher than that of Kent or Hogan or Bugg for that matter? We played poorly as a team but Garland would not be the first person I would pointing my finger at. He is your whipping boy, we get it, but using this game as vindication is way off the mark
  18. Seriously? There were far worse players than Matty Jones
  19. And multiple replies for no apparent reason
