  1. Awesome work guys, going from strength to strength. Feel free to PM me if you would like any help going forward with these projects, more than happy to donate some time when I have it to keep thus kind of quality material coming. Pats on the back all round
  2. But...... we didn’t use it at the draft. Sorry ? just being unnecessarily pedantic @Redleg
  3. Don’t know him as a player anywhere near well enough to have a solid opinion but I feel there is one last play in us and we will either take a delisted free agent or experienced player in the draft. Ive heard interest in Mitch before, simply curious if people think he could fill a need
  4. So now that Adelaide have paid the same price we did for Gibbs, a 28yr old past his prime can the whiners and hand wringers finally accept we paid a fair price and move on? probably not
  5. In my head it works but I'll back Viney and the boys to make the right decision. If cheap the experiment of him as a wing hff, potentially even a shut down forward with explosive 2 way running excites. But the minds eye is often rosy in colour so I'll stick with the first sentence
  6. Appreciate the concern, but I've been doing this for 16yrs or so. Heresay on a public forum isn't quite the all powerful thing some you of obviously think it is. But I'll keep my observations to myself from now on if it offends so much
  7. They aren't good customers, I'd much rather not have them at all
  8. It was the GWS boys, I'm not interested in it being a press thing but I don't care about naming names either. This weekend it was Shaw, Taranto and I think Coniglio. Previously it's been Patton, Franklin, Aliir Aliir and Grundy. The purpose of the topic was do we know of similar behaviour in our boys? I was pretty dismayed at Taranto getting involved so young, whilst Bernie is known party boy I would hope he isn't taking Petracca or Oliver out with him to learn those habits
  9. I've posted here before about some AFL footballers drinking in the bar I manage in Sydney. This weekend we had quite a few more that really made utter dills of themselves and obviously imbibed more than any professional athlete should. I'm aware that it's easier for the Sydney teams as they aren't the household faces that the traditional state teams players are but if this is happening so much here, why are we getting so sensitive over seemingly smaller indiscretions. By comparison I would suggest our boys are far more professional in their approach but do we think our lads get up to as much mischief that we don't know about?
  10. Hannan - out of nowhere On my second watch of the replay I noticed 6 more crucial impacts he had on the game. It was far from his best match but his pressure, clean pick up and use of the footy is top 5 in the team I believe. Loves a tackle to boot. His fairly unique kicking style allows him to get ball to foot unbelievably quickly as we have seen in some of his pack snaps for goal in previous weeks but this week it was more in assists. His left is a cannon as well. Petracca - on the verge Consistency is improving and his ability to win his own ball, spin and weave out of trouble and then with poise deliver to a good option is going to be what makes him a star. Not his contested marking, burst speed and love of a goal although they will help. One passage of play in the third sadly didn't result in a goal but was a sign of future. As everyone else around him fumbled we won 3 hard ball gets in a row in traffic with shear will and ability in the forward 50. Will be a match winner on a regular basis ala Dangerfield or Gray in the future
  11. My favourite from an irate Pies fan suggesting they pull out of QB all together; "So I gather by everybody thoughts here I'm not the only one, we owe Neale Daniher nothing, they can [censored] off and use another club like they use and our massive following, I've had a gut full of this stuff, Collingwood are stupid to let another club to pump them up to the detriment of our team and 4 points each year, the AFL don't want us to spoil the party, those lady 3 mins today told a huge story, it was the BIG FIX, something needs to change, the booing for the maggots as they walked off today was massive, loud and long, we could all see it, yet they treat us as stupid" Enough said really ?
  12. Wow, my expectations are never high but that was just pi$$ poor
  13. Hey guys, trekking down from Sydney for the big game and I'm going solo for possibly the first time ever. Not too fazed to just sit by myself but I thought if there are any fellow demon fans that are keen to have some beers and cheer the boys on together I'd be happy to meet up before the game. Let me know if anyone is interested!
  14. Everyone is aware that had one of the few close ones gone our way we would be 4th right? I still think we are doing fine in yet another learning year, coach included
  15. It's not a good look, but I run a bar in Sydney and we have Swans and Giants players in getting smashed and smoking out the front regularly. Have to say it doesn't seem to affect their performances very often
  16. Haven't been a fan but have to give it to him today. Not out of place and maybe the confidence boost he has needed because he seems a naturally cocky bloke who hasn't had anything to be cocky about til today, those kind of guys tend to need something to feed off
  17. Can't believe it wasn't reported before! I heard someone say it came from an aeroplane. I was too distracted by some goose wearing a silver rabbit mask when it happened to see for myself
  18. Intentional or not, it ended up being a pun. As in, you found his nickname 'killer', in the vernacular sense, ergo you would enjoy reading post 15 which also claimed to enjoy several lame nicknames. Clear as mud? Aside from KillaWatts I think it's Gerald Healy who quite painfully refers to Watts as 'High Voltage'. Cringe
  19. Any reports on Tim Smith? Big fan of the Bull but haven't seen his name come up much. Please and Thank You
  20. Late entrant for sweeping statement of the year? Happy to hear your retort as I find the concept interesting but to just slam it and provide no counter is rude quite frankly
