  1. Good news, Dees fans. Jesse Hogan back on track after foot scare. Chance to play Saturday v Dogs. tweet from stevo. Probably on ch7 sport tonight.
  2. yep and next week it will be 3 years we lost our beloved Jimma.
  3. http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/melbourne-close-to-re-signing-tough-midfielder-angus-brayshaw/story-fndv8pdq-1227255504839 great news that a youngster wants to extend his contract and stay with us for a little longer.
  4. email the club and tell them. it shouldn't be to hard to work put PJ or Josh's email address. But even if you cant find that out id still email them. it isnt good enough to leave fans hanging that long when they show the courtesy to show up. although they did put this tweet out but I guess not everyone is on social media. Melbourne FC ‏@melbournefc 12h 12 hours ago UPDATE: Today's open training will commence at 1pm at Gosch's Paddock, with a BBQ and coffee stall set up from 12pm.
  5. well every year we have lost someone to free agency. I know he isnt one but still it will be a shame to lose him. I hope he doesnt request a trade. Im sick of players leaving.
  6. please please no injuries. dont care about the result except if we get our pants pulled down but just no injuries to our good players.
  7. "It's been very disappointing what's happened the last two years and the way our football club has been treated. Is he kidding? Your club brought this on itself you moron. No one else did this program. My god take the blinkers off and accept some responsibility.
  8. I reckon col would happily take the payout rather than do the hard yards.
  9. I dont begrudge chip for leaving. He hung around for 7 years during a crap time and has now gone to a club where he will play finals and possibly a premiership which I believe is what players play football for. Yes I was disappointed that he chose not to hang around but at least he wasnt a scully and ditch us after 2 seasons. But it will be interesting to see how he goes r1 against geelong where hawkins has given him trouble. Also he may find things a bit tougher he is part of a standout team that rarely lose. The pressure will be greater. Bulldogs fans were annoyed when Lake left but do you tink he cares. He now has 2 flags. Yep look what happened to the dogs over that 2 year period. They lost there coach, had 2 disappointing seasons and lost there captain and a brownlow medalist. Im just saying I understand why players leave.
  10. how do you not know that you are meant to go to court. i mean its court. you should know when you are meant to front.
  11. you know that you have been supporting a team that has been crap over the years when you see a sports report and get excited because Garlett kicked 4 goals.

  13. its benign. ed said on mmm this morning. I think he may have ruined the tv exclusive that a current affair had with him. but good news for him and his family.
  14. dam it i love it when finey gets all worked up and tees off. Venom Denham did the same thing this morning. this was posted on twitter from a perth supermarket.
  15. damien hardwick said rance would stay because he said alex said he wants to stay. well damien, tom scully told a man riddled with cancer that he loved melbourne and would stay. sorry but judging on past players he is gone.
  16. "He went over there, he had an ordinary year last year, I would have thought that [after] an ordinary year last year that Colin Syliva would have turned up this year super fit and rippling and he hasn't done that," Carey said. the ox also said this on SEN on Colin Sylvia: "he's immature for his age and always has been"
  17. yep just had a peek. obviously still hangs around beamer a lot and obviously interesting the one of him and his dad. obviously both like a drink.
  18. .@Fremantle_FC will review their free agency recruiting after the saga of Colin Sylvia #AFL | http://yhoo.it/1uiijCJ
  19. i think ross said he would actually review the recruiting of Col. I bet he went to the recruiting officer and said what the hell did you get this guy for.
  20. Fremantle Dockers Colin Sylvia banished from club after failing to meet training standards Hilarious. Hey Col guess what you are at freo now under Ross Lyon. Not at melbourne where you were obviously allowed to get away with things. He still has 2 years up there and should have known after 1 season not to turn up to pre season unfit when Ross Lyon is at the helm. This is the same coach that wouldnt let a saints player take an exam because it interfered with his footy. That boy will never learn. By the way melbourne thankyou for doing something right and letting this guy go and getting bernie in.
  21. i remember when I was younger and writing to the players. I still treasure my hand written letters from Jimmy and glenn lovett and robbo.
  22. Didnt a kid send watts some money not to leave last year and he returned the money and a bit of interest on it and met the kid. Look im not having a crack at frawley but if someone takes the time to write you a letter at least have the respect to open it.
  23. Yeah Trisha has got engaged and is CEO of stkilda youth service.
  24. I was so happy when I heard this news this morning. I thought jones would stay but until he signed u just never know. But seeing him on the news tonight and saying he bleeds for the club is just great, Plus he is also a really awesome guy. A draft pick that we did get right and a player that does justice to the number 2 jumper.
  25. also they can get an injury and bang they are in surgery that night while poor joe blow has to be out on a waiting list. Look I can sympathise with them when they get hassled going out but i dont feel sorry for them. They are well paid, are guaranteed a pretty good income and they do get definite holidays. plus they get everything done for them.
