Remembering Rob Flower (The Robert Flower Wing)
dees189227 replied to picket fence's topic in Melbourne Demons
That is fantastic. Great stuff. -
I hope Sydney beat essendon, Nick Riewoldt plays and the saints win Im more interested on monday to see how not only Mitch Clark plays but how Chip goes against hawkins and Mitch. Hawkins used to get a hold of him when he was with us.
-
Well another r1 game coming up. We look forward to it every year hoping we have improved. The last few years we have walked away disappointed. But it will be good to see the new recruits on saturday and I dont want to single him out and turn him into another watts and put pressure on him, but I think Hogan playing will attract another few thousand to the game.
-
well port are happy. monfries and ryder are free to play as is crameri for the dogs.
-
jon ralph tweet. Nice touch from Bombers - putting on buses to Sydney and giving away free tickets to reward fans who have stuck by them for Round 1 game. How nice of them to suck up to there fans. I wonder if ASADA are so annoyed they will take it out on the 2 pies players
-
I knew they would get off. But was hoping something would have been found. I guess the thing is and i think i heard right that ASADA didnt have evidence of it in there systems, they just heard about the program. Well my question is what the hell were they injected with. Have they actually been told what was injected or just told hey it wont hurt you. Golden boy Turd is about to speak. He will be gloating and im not going to watch any news or the footy show because I dont want to hear sam newman go on about it. Times like this i wish i lived in a non footy state. Robinson and warner will be jumping around with glee. pluss all the essendon fans. I hope the swans smash them
-
anyone else get this awful feeling that the players will be found not guilty and we have wasted over 2 years on nothing in the end. Then we will have hird the turd standing there grinning with little beside him and saying Ive told you all along they are innocent and we did nothing wrong.
-
-
isnt it so frustrating when players from other teams that are top 5 picks play so well and we look at ours and wonder when they will perform
-
are we meant to feel good because we beat the dogs and they are currently thrashing the pies by 8 goals.
-
it could be worse. The dogs are currently7 goals up against the pies midway through the 2nd quarter. If the pies lose look for the media to again target Bucks. He is under pressure this year even though the people are at the club are saying he is not. The pies fans wont take a loss to the dogs.

I have just watched that Viney turnover on the afl website. What the hell! 1) why did he mark it ? He should have left it to Lumumba. 2) Why would he choose to kick across goal and who was that player he was trying to pass to 3) Why did he play on so quickly 4) Never ever do I ever want to see that again

Melbourne v Essendon @ Etihad Stadium - 20th March, 2015
dees189227 replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
well roos didnt come out and blame jack. But no doubt he will be shown the footage and told what he should have done. Demons coach Paul Roos refused to blame Viney for the error, saying his teammates should have used their voices to direct the youngster. "You would like to think more guys around him are talking to him and directing him and letting him know what's going on," he said. "I think that's the next stage for us as a group that it's less about the individual, but more about the team. "And that's probably the thing you take out of tonight. If you play as a team, which obviously all the good sides do, you get a much better result over a four-quarter period." -

thankgod I didnt bother going. cricket more interesting. Cannot believe we lost. The etihad curse has struck again and the worst thing is we go into r1 wihtout our key man in dawes. So Hogan will have to play. How come no one could catch Dalgleish when he was allowed to run the length of the field for that goal. -

whats the crowd estimation? -
what an interesting question by Harry. I wonder if players have tried to use that excuse before. Im not saying that Harry has done anything wrong, but if you are in the room with your mates who may be smoking something illegal id leave the room.

Doggies in betting scandal over Ballarat game v Demons
dees189227 replied to Satan's topic in Melbourne Demons
seriously how dumb are some of these players. Before the season and when your career begins you get a talk on betting and how its not on. Everyone knows you cannot bet. and to bet on your team to lose, thats even worse. -
Hit the 30,000 mark.

anyone know how many we sold at the family day? I renewed one for my mum and the guy in front of me was signing up and he had never been a member before.

Family Day @ Luna Park 15/3/15
dees189227 replied to The Great Pretender's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ok I got there just after 9 and have no idea how that time just flew. I had my 3 yr old niece and was going to take her on a ride after we had got autographs, she had a photo with Jack Viney and the line was cut because it was nearly 11. The morning just flew. Ok where was Nathan Jones. I did not see him all morning and therefore missed out on his signature. Where was he standing signing autographs and I didnt see Watts either. Interesting they had Jesse Hogan up in the room where you have to queue and walk up the stairs. Normally that is where the leadership group is. Anyway he seemed a nice boy. Enjoyed the day, left before the presentation. -
I have listened to him the last 2 days and its so strange to hear him say nice things about us. He has turned his hatred onto the dogs and also giving essendon and hird a serve which is funny. But over the years what he said hasnt been that far off the mark but it was more to do with schwab neeld and our recruiting.

Mitch Clark's 6 goals - how ... 'depressing'.
dees189227 replied to bush demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
he is trending on twitter and he also took a hanger. Why do I get the awful feeling Geelong are going to get the good Mitch Clark, the injury free one. It would be just our luck. -
9 touches, 5 marks, 3 goals and a speccy to mitch clark at half time. Onto Chip. He has gibson and lake to help him. But I think he will be more exposed down there.
-
id say geelong are the obvious front runners.

well peter jackson has expectations according to mark stevens who tweeted out the following. Demons CEO deadly serious about team goals ... One final in 2016 and two finals in 2017 ... applaud it, you gotta have aims
