Another thing I enjoyed last night was when Brayshaw got flattened on the tigs bench and he just got straight back up and ran to the stoppage ready to contest it. He didnt stay down and throw the arms back like danger did last week. Also how good is his tackling. They just stick. On the radio last night they asked Jones what he said to the players on the ground after the game when they were in a huddle and he basically said after the Gc win we have have got caught up in it and got a little to excited about it for a few days and there was a let down the week after and he doesnt want it to happen this week.

Yeah we dont want him to end up like a travis cloke, who needs to see someone to help him with his kicking. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but he has probably had heaps of people tell him different ways on what to do. I was critical of Jesse missing easy goals a few weeks ago but after last night just let him do, how he wants to do it.

I loved vanderbergs game, loved how Michie just came in and layer his role. Loved Bernies goal and his workrate. Tommy Mac was great but please stop trying to run the ball out in the wet. His spoils were sensational. I thought dawes looked better and HOgan well what can you say. Jones was just awesome, vince was in there again and im so rapt with Brayshaw. He cannot start sub again. Loved how the boys got around him when he kicked that goal and he came off clapping sat down and Lumumba was patting him on the back, so excited for him. Loved seeing the tigs fans start to leave not even half way through the 2nd quarter. I just loved everything including the pre match tribute. It was a good job by us and richmond. Lets hope we get a good turnout against freo next week and give a good contest.

Love him love him love him. When the rain came he was just marking stuff and that goal he kicked was beautiful. We can never never let this player go.

Is it just a coincidence or in the past have we always focused on frawley and not realise how good Tommy is now. I mean he is had a great 3 games and the media are now beginning to take notice. I know he has done his job in the past and we know he can run and his kicking needs some work but maybe he has taken that next step to be a great defender and feels he has to now Chip is no longer there. Anyway im looking forward to his matchup on Riewoldt. I hope the rain stays away and we win.

Sloane was on mmm rush hour this arvo and said in the past vince has actually played like that before and he played well and good on him for playing the way he did. But my worry now is this week the umpires will be watching vince a lot more closely and just pay free kicks against him.

thats the problem with gawn and spencer. They are to good for the vfl but get them in afl and they struggle. Grimes hsould be bought back in.

they were talking about it on the footy show today and said what vince did was fine and walsh was wrong with his comments. They actually spoke about danger staging for free kicks and how that isnt a great look. Wondered about the bad feeling between the two of them.

I also liked the fact that Brayshaw didnt join in because he was probably thinking Im not paying a fine, but he went in there and pulled his captain away to get him out of there im thinking maybe to protecte him. But it was great to see at 3/4 time the players get in there sticking up for vince.

well I flicked it on the radio when I heard we were 3 goals to 0. Then all I heard was JKH get run down twice watts dropped his head in a contest and cost us a goal and Hogan kept missing. I eventually saw the 2nd half. Hogan I know its only his 3rd game but he should be kicking those goals. We need to sort out that kicking out. We dont want a levi casboult on our hands. Someone who is a beautiful mark but cannot kick straight. anyway next week we are back on the G. If we kicked straighter today it may have been a different result. Id start Brayshaw on the ground next week. The kid is a tackling machine. Just gets in there.

wouldnt it be nice to replicate last years result? The thing is this year we have a stronger team with our recruits but unfortunately adelaide have just flown out of the blocks. Tommy on Tex will be a great matchup that will be good to see. I just feel losing Jack has really really hurt us. But we will see. I just hope for a 4 quarter effort. In our 8 quarters of footy we have only play 2 bad ones.

have just got back to my hotel after coming up for the game and oh my god what the hell happened after half time? Did gws take something. Seriously they just came out and looked so much faster. The first half was great but the next half was just a diaster. Our leaders went missing when they were coming back at us and we just could not get our hands on the ball or out of the middle. I thought with the 2 changes this week our team looked better, but Dawes did nothing, that was the worst game Ive ever seen jones play and even Herieter was fumbling the ball. Im not sure what changes to make because I feel whoever will be bought in wont really help us as they arent that great apart from grimes. I thought we had our best team in today. I actually fear what adelaide will do to us next week. On another side less improtant note the giants fans actually appluaded when they hit the 100 point score. serously whats with that.
