Watching the brisbane richmond match, now I know how other supporters go watching melbourne. I feel like im watching melbourne tonight in parts when we play at our worst. Brisbane are fumbling, cant get it out of there 50, letting Richmond score easily and no targets up the ground. By the way how do you reckon Moloney is going. plays in a team last week that gets thrashed by over 100 then finds himself as sub where first gamers are getting a full game before him.

I remember reading he said some of the acting work he has done has helped him with his confidence and its showing. He may be light but he has good instincts and if he keeps on running down players like last week I hope he stars the game every week. But it also shows how comfortable the players feel around roos and how approachable he must be. For JKH in his first year and only a young kid to go to roos and say give me a full game shows courage and shows he is determined to do well.

yep i think Col has had a reality check. I knew Ross would be tougher on him. He had it pretty easy at melbourne and thought he could just cruise through. Well guess what not at freo. You have to work harder and the fact he couldnt get in the team when they are missing Fyfe, Barlow and walters missing says something about his form. Also do you think Beamer is enjoying brisbane still? he'd fell like he is back at melbourne with the thrashing they have got.

Gary has been on Nic nats stats for awhile. I remember one stat where they discussed the most number of marks he had taken in a game and it was under 10. Its true though he doesnt do a lot in a game Cox is way more better. Yes he does the flashy thing or two but he should be doing a lot more with the way commentators go on about him. I watched him when we played them and noticed how lazy he is off the ball. He gives up chases easily and around the field doesnt man up. I know he had 10 possessions in the 1st quarter but after that he was quiet and I was very surprised when he got best on ground by some journos. Watts is clever with what he does with the ball and is smart in one on one contests. There is no way Nic is worth 1mill a year which is reportedly going to be his new contract. They way I see it he hasnt helped WC do anything. He may have got an all australian but he hasnt helped them win a flag.

my highlights Grimes's best game in ages. He was fantastic Dawes, it's amazing what happens when you suddenly have a tall forward to kick to. We went long and his 2 goals were brilliant. Frawley, what a game. His leading up was great and his 2 goals and not to forget his 15 marks and 6 inside 50's. Keep him down there. He is enjoying ti and is another target. McDonald was brilliant down back Spencer was great in the ruck except that one lapse he had in the 3rd quarter where he didnt go up for the ruck. Loved his ragged doll tackle on Yarran. JKH. I wanted him to start and his tackle on Cripps was sensational and he kicked a nice goal to. Viney my god how good it is to have him back and vince was down today but we covered him Jones is just the ultimate warrior. He basically sacrificed himself out of the midfield today to shut down murphy and not only did he do that he got the ball 28 times and was just awesome. Pedersen what a goal in that last quarter. Amazing what a win does. I wonder how many people who were standing up and cheering the goal and when he came off in the end under the blood rule were calling for his head a week ago.

Listening to 3aw on the way home because they were the only station still covering our games its amazing how many richmond, collingwood and even essendon fans were ringing up saying how good it was to hear the melbourne theme song at the end and it was good to see us win. Granted they were only happy because carlton lost but it was nice to have some love there for awhile.

so we lose moloney to FA, rivers to FA, sylvia to FA and now we will probably lose Frawley. Wow each year we just see someone walk out. Next year Nathan Jones is out of contract, if he walks which I doubt he would I think I will just give up.
