I think you missed Frawley. You make a fine point about our core group of aged players in the majority being below standard I do think your letting the younger talent off the hook. Regards to the football that was played today. Servicable mentions Jones - really the only reason to go to the footy at the moment tries week in week out. The rest can go and get stuffed. I got down to training and ill say it was impressive to say the least. First drill I saw was the 'empty the forward 50' led admirably by the Experiance who did such a good job Martin when he was supposed to be the full forward he was stuck in the centre square. Saw the skills coach working his magic. Execute a handball to a stationary player under extreme pressure, turn it over to a Roo player in the clear and watch a sausage roll we did this to a aplomb. The skills coach continued his mastery where kicking out on the full, kicking over your team mates head, centering the ball to an opposition, and hand balling behind your team mate were the fashion of the day. Jake spencer excelled at drill which had absolutely nothing to do about football showed why he will be first picked week in week out
