  1. The club would be insane to re-draft him by the PSD if he wants to walk you have let him walk. No good keeping any player who doesn't want to be there only creates problems. PSD in my opinion is out of the question he signs on for the rest of his career or he's traded.
  2. Some collingwood [censored] on big footy said this: It's a complete rumour and i can't find anything to substantiate it so don't shoot the messanger I'm only providing the latest rumour I have heard from scouring the internet. http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=636994 26 Sep 2009, 18:50 #15 istillbelieve BigFooty Newbie Collingwood Join Date: Sep 2009 Re: Aaron Davey Aaron Davey met with Geoff Walsh, Mick Malthouse & Leon Davis yesterday in St.Kilda Road offices . 50/50 chance of getting him followed by 26 Sep 2009, 19:06 #17 istillbelieve BigFooty Newbie Collingwood Join Date: Sep 2009 Re: Aaron Davey That came from demon's source, it is Pies or Demons. Bombers not in the picture Like I say i take this with a grain of salt but it would be good to here he has offically come to terms before trade week starts.
  3. Be disappointing if he did go but he'll be 21-22 and if he has a really good year next year Gold coast will through the kitchen sink at him. He'd probably get paid double what he's worth moving to GC also. I think GC and GWS are the major stumbling blocks in the MFC rebuild they may just undercut all of the steps taken over last 2 years.
  4. German won VFL coach of the year and makes a massive difference in our lists development. On SEN he gave an interviws and It was easy to tell he was [censored] he'd not been given access to MFC players and that he had to put up an embarrassing effort in the elimination final.
  5. I'd like dunn to become an elite hard tagger with the ability to work the other way and apply scoreboard pressure on those he tags so they have to be accountable and can't run off him In the mold of Ling but more dangerous up forward he has to work on his endurance if he's going to get there. But I think he's got it in him He's 23/24 next year has played 52 games. He either puts up next season or fades into obscurity an overpaid scorpions player.
  6. First I'd like to see some respect for the Red and Blue not so long ago St.kilda was languishing at the bottom an embarrassment. Even Geelong has seen it's fair share of a history of failure yo-yoing up and down the ladder. I want people to say demons followed by a great team, with great players, followed by winning and intimidating. I don't think well get all the way to getting this by next year but I hope to be around 10th or so with 6-8 wins. and the knockers starting to eat their own words
  7. Good news about the shoulder can't wait to see his classy run and carry put to good effect coming out of the backline/wing and pin pointing passes into the forward 50 Rip it up in the pre season Straussy together with Blease and see you in 2010 see you soon in the red and blue
  8. My preferred team for 2010 this is really tough to fit all these guys together B: Rivers, Warnock, Frawley Hb: Morton, Grimes, Mcdonald C: Jones, Sylvia, Green Hf: Bate, Jurrah, Davey F: Garland, Watts, Wona R: Jamar, Moloney, Bruce Int: Scully, Petterd, Martin, Trengove Emerg: Benell, Miller, Strauss, Blease If we can get 2-3 seasons of these guys regularly playing together it's going to be exciting
  9. 25 y/o 199cm 103kg Needs to improve his second/third/fourth efforts increase his tank and his ball handling and contested marks. The guys the size of a panza tank plays give him 1 more year if he shows no improvment trade him. Too many games he's getting mid teen possessions with half a dozen clangers turning over the ball too much.
  10. Definate need to take a KPP for pick 11 untradeable in my opinion. Probably needs to be a forward as key deficit in our side. Carlisle, Panos, Butcher, Talia will do.
  11. If it's silvia or davey I'm gonna go nuts. Not only are we unlucky with injuries we loose our players when they start to show potential. I will go off I'll rip the joint apart.
  12. Hello fellow demons, Long time lurker first time poster have supported the club since I was 3 years old still waiting for the day I see a flag. Got my hopes up in 2000 even though I knew we were the second best team it didn't help when the game ended. Hoping to contribute and passionately discuss the greatest football club in the world. Brock leaving is a shock he always seemed like one of the most dedicated melbourne players we have. But if this reflects anything there's no sentiment in footy. I'm pisssed with DB one of our franchise players has left and he hasn't been heard from. Brock made appearances on the Footy show, One Week at a Time and was looking like a potential spokesman/frontman for our club going forward. Why doesn't Mclean fit in our future plans anymore in terms of the clubs perspective. I know his slow, injury prone and not the most skilled. But what's the clubs reason for letting him go. Don't give me he wanted to leave somethings gone down and is the club going to repay the donations he's made. DB front the press, tell us what's going on, how the rebuild is effected, why Mclean left, what we'll look to get in the draft with 11 and give us some reassurance. Just heard an excert on SEN of Brock being door stopped at Carltscum sounded quite emotional.
