  1. Tragic outcome wish Mitch all the best. Can't help but imagine what might have been.
  2. Big footy post: Webjet's Demons exit frees up second major property 14 October 2013 3:11pm Online travel company, Webjet has ended its jersey co-sponsorship of the Melbourne Demons but the AFL club is confident of securing a replacement following the appointment of popular coach Paul Roos. http://www.sponsorshipnews.com.au/nl06_news_selected.php?act=2&stream=1-1&selkey=43531&hlc=2&hlw= Goady138, Yesterday at 7:17 PM #33 Anyone else hear any news on their exit?
  3. Therefore needs to prove he can get fit!!! Had one comeback which failed already!!!
  4. Will never ever play for MFC again. Will never play AFL again.
  5. Has a lot to prove took a massive pay packet and through no fault of his own hasn't been on the field. However despite his injuries he has been one of a very few shinning lights in last 2 years. So sad...
  6. Another Roos project should of been developed as a mid flanker. Hopefully we get him right I think he has ability.
  7. 3 years!!!!! Harrington stamped his papers with this deal.
  8. Pick #52 so can't be upset he was delisted. Another of the too skinny, poor disposal mould we have had the corner market on. His brother looked the better player anyway.

Win that is it that is all.

"Where pulling the plug is more humane" "The answer is blowin in the wind" "At least the training is elite" "Bermuda Triangle Midfield" "Where the win is players arriving on time" "A scoreboard free club" "Competitive... Yeah...Na" "Free to a good home" "Club seeks loyal supporter. If you like walks on the beach at sunset or fine wine by an open fireplace KEEP LOOKING. Must be non-smoker (landlord rules). Must be a heavy drinker and into self loathing. Masochism is a must because let's be honest pain is your friend. Must be generous with money, love and attention and expect nothing in return. I guarantee to train elite, be selective with effort and over pay underachievers. In the end all you need is love." "We proved J curves don't exist"
  11. Must surely be scrapped. Darwin is a monumental failure that totally disenfranchises the heartland. No real supporter growth potential. Not worth the cash to be constantly flogged the week after. Jackson must sack Darwin. Darwin is not what we need.
  12. Clark this year looks like a complete write off now. But like others I'd like to know if this is a career ending injury. He appears to have made little to no progress since having the screw taken out. The club was initially buoyant that this would get him right. What's gone wrong? MFC will he ever be back?
  13. This grotesque anticipation of someone's demise is so nauseating.
  14. This board our administration our current coaching all need to be sacked. Our club needs to be taken over by the AFL. We have allowed this club to be run into oblivion all on the back of snake oil salesmen who only ever promised a false dawn. I can't tolerate this slow death any longer I need to see action from somewhere. We are that dead horse.
  15. We're done put a fork in us. Nothing is what we are. Laughing stock of competition. Neeld said five I don't think a decade will resolve this shite.
  16. I don't want to be a club that has a revolving door of coaches. I'd like Neeld to be afforded a similar degree of latitude as Bailey I believe unless there are disaster performances continued throughout the year he should finish the year at least I hope the football department is being reviewed as I think Jackson has stated would be done Neeld is not alone there's a senior coach with pedigree right next to him most of the time. Next 3 games will tell us if they can get a side to consistently compete. Then the two after the bye with hopefully Clark and grimes back could be up for grabs.
  17. I saw overlap, run and carry, excellent footskills, commitment to the contest, strong tackling, accurate goal kicking and capitalising on turnovers. I saw the exact opposite from Casey.
  18. Are there any viable alternatives to the current board out there though who would take it on at this point. It seemed more huff and puff than anything else.
  19. I was at the game today one of the 13,000 who turned up. I Attended the pre game address in the Lindsay Hassett room Jack Watts and Neville Jetta attended. Why Jetta didn't play today was bewildering. He served his suspension but has to apparently come back through the VFL who have a bye. Apparently this was due to the good form of players who came in while he was suspended go figure. The half time address was given in the Jack Ryder room by Russell Howcroft and Peter Jackson. As he did in the media Jackson stated the estimated projected loss. The poor football department structure. The poor on field display. He was asked if he expected members to dig back into their pockets to fill the shortfall. He said we are respected by no one not the AFL not other clubs not even supporters and members. After the poor onfield topic the next hotly debated was the MFC board. This is the third time I have heard people state openly in that forum that the board will be challenged at the end of the year. So I ask what's the consensus should the current board be challenged. Or are people venting frustration with no realistic threat to the current board. Is more instability a viable option? Or should we cut our loses with a club that continues to find new depths to sink?
  20. I'm [censored] sick of this club. I can't believe gross incompetence can be so perfectly manifested by one organisation. Deny any/all involvement and here are pages of texts as proof. I can't [censored] handle much more scandal. This has just about tipped me over the cliff.
  21. Frawley leaving would create a massive hole. He's a must keep I think he's the most important player on the list. While lacking form personally it's tough to be a defender in our side at the moment. We will see if Neeld and co actually have a vision and that the players have bought in or not. Let's see if the players believe or not.
