I'll never barrack or follow another team it's Dees or nothing. I still buy the membershp but I went to 3 games this year I couldn't be bothered. I backed the rebuild, I held the faith, i sat with the 18k at MCG to see us get up against Freo. Went to all home games that year. I stomached 3 wins in 2008 and 4 in 2009 I saw the need and felt we had little other option. 2010 I started to believe and I thought good showings against the sworn enemy was the hope beginning to be repaid. 2011 and 186 killed every amount of hope I had. 5 years of misery had been punctuated by insipid filth. That day I felt like the clear message from the entire club was 'we don't care'. Since then tragedy and controversy has followed whether it has been the clubs doing or not. 2012 I still paid the membership still brought the merchandise still followed the news and I'm still interested about the club. But I don't care, I now need proof to care again. I hope it comes.

I'm not sure where I read it but wasn't Misson so shocked by our fitness levels that he rated us at 40% of St.kilda's fitness levels. To bring them into line with the required level of fitness and prevent injury it would take 3 preaseasons. Misson has the the reputation of being able to get teams to an elite level so even if Neeld can't coach, has lost all the players at least we will be fit. There should be no doubt that we can't compete because we're unfit.

Just rewatched the half time conversation regarding Cook and Gysberts. The abc vfl commentators said following. Donegan: "Melbourne coach Mark Neeld has just had a bit of a chat to us about the situation with Lucas Cook and Jordan Gysberts. It did appear in the papers throughout the week and he seemed pretty disappointed with what appeared." Rhys Jobes: "Yeah, yeah and both boys are still on the list and that's good signs for them and ah let's hope they can stay on there and produce in the last quarter (Rhys Jones confused that its half time) cause Casey needs them at the moment."

What a season this has turned out to be. I didn't expect that all the hard work that was put into Jurrah would count for nothing. We're left high and dry without any recognition of the efforts the club has gone too. No one wins today. For me it's the unfulfilled potential a bit of Jakovich about all of this.

Where's the good news in that. Fitzroy had 31 from they're last 6 seasons. People say Port's going bad they've won 49 games in the last 6 seasons. In fact the only worse modern record was Carlton with 28 wins from 2002 to 2007 when they had sanctions for their salary cap rorts. It's surprising punters aren't even more disgruntled. We must demand more, expect more and hold those responsible to account.

China is total untapped potential hopefully we are continuing to develop ties with china. I recall the club looking at an elite training camp in china but haven't heard anymore about that. Then there was the rumored chinese sponsor. I think another preseason game should happen. It would great to be the pioneers of the Chinese market.
